Do not buy it!
I bought this 5 days ago and installed it in my basement and the humidity sensor was defective. You indicated that the humidity was only 30% when I bought it because the humidity is over 50%. I complained to Midea and they admitted that they’re getting many customer complaints about the unit. Do not buy it.

Works so well!
My basement has gotten very damp this summer and I needed to replace an old dehumidifier that wasn’t cutting it anymore. It’s amazing how much better this one works! In 5 hours it decreased the humidity from 65% to 45% in a two-room, 650 sq ft basement and two days later the other two floors have also decreased to 50%. So glad I bought this model. Using the drain hose makes upkeep so simple. Only cons are the included hose is very short (so I bought a longer one for $10) and it does generate some heat, which I don’t mind since it’s in a cool basement. Wish I’d bought this earlier.

Great Dehumidifier
Great dehumidifier. Very quiet when running. Easy to empty. Wish it operated on 5G network instead of 2. Hard to program as phone and house default to 5G.

Great, Effective Product
This product was easy to set up, and once you get it running, does not require any attention. I put this in the basement of my new house, which was quite damp/humid, to the point that new paint was running off the walls. After just a day, there was a noticeable difference, and any new paint dried quickly on the walls. I really appreciate the versatility of using either the bucket, or the drain, as I have a drain and can have this going endlessly.

works well but be ready when the warranty expires
Brilliant design and decent features. Worked great for about a year. About 3 months after the warranty expired, it began making water-dripping noises while the unit was not operating. When lifting the unit to drain the bucket, water will drain and drip from the bottom surface of the dehumidifier. No idea or suggestions offered on how to fix the problem. The unit still works fine, but the dripping noise and water draining out of the bottom surface every time I lift it out to empty the bucket is maddening.

Great product with all of the features
I bought two of these about 18 months ago and they are great. Everything about the design and layout is well thought out and implemented. I cannot think of anything that I would want to change. These units are 100% reliable, quiet, and energy efficient. I have some critical storage needs in my basement and they hold it at my desired 40% RH. I use the condensate pump feature, the WiFi connection, and the phone app that allows me to control and verify system operation from anywhere. I highly recommend this product and would consider other Midea products based on my experience with two of these dehumidifiers.

Keeps freezing up
Removes humidity OK, but after running for a few hours, the coils freeze. Ice forms on the outside and it starts making popping noises.

Bucket overflows when full and app can't detect fill level.
Great at removing moisture from the air. Seems to be more effective than any other dehumidifier I have used. However, in the two weeks I have used it, the bucket has overflowed twice and the unit continues to run. Yes, the unit is set to bucket mode. Also, the app does not display bucket fill level so I have to think whatever sensor detects fill level is defective. The mechanism for detecting fill level isn't obvious like most other models with a tilt switch. So 5 stars for dehumidifying, and 1 for overflowing puddle of a mess = 2 stars.

Love this lil guy
Keeps my basement dry and is so easy to use! Love the app where I can change settings, turn on and off, or just see its status. It runs like a champ on continuous or if I have it on a specific humidity will automatically turn on. I have had the cube for nearly a month now, running everyday and no problems in sight.

Dehumidifier stopped working less than 2 months in
Product worked great at first but then a few weeks later it would start shutting off before the bucket filled and would say "P2". Despite several attempts to reset the unit and fix the issue the dehumidifier doesn't work at all anymore

I just purchased this dehumidifier and, it's awesome
I purchased it yesterday, had it set up by 5pm. The unit turned itself off at 1pm the next day (today). It pulled out a lot of water from the air. I was shocked, really. This machine really draws the moisture out of the air. I There are 4 settings for how much water you want accumulated before the unit shuts off. I chose 3 so, the bucket was a little under half. I dumped it in the bathtub. Currently, and every summer, Southern Ontario is under heat advisory and the humidity is absurd. It is hot sweaty and sticky. With this machine, it is not a sticky and sweaty heat. The heat is more manageable. Dehumidifiers give off heat and this is how they draw moisture. I don't know the science behind it but apparently this is what happens so, as I say, the heat is still here however, the heat is more manageable. I may get an air conditioner from Midea. Run the air conditioner for awhile and then, turn on the dehumidifier. The tutorial video is really good. The machine is able to be set for however much water you want so you are able to avoid some big heavy amount of water to lift up to the sink to empty. ...one more note, customer service is really good. I am happy with this purchase.
