You get what you pay for

This chair arrived time and was easy to assemble, but the quality is pretty terrible. The side panels have almost no cushioning which makes the whole thing pretty uncomfortable. The seat is made of wooden (?) slats and would almost certainly NOT withstand the abuse my children put out furniture through. The seat cushion itself comes vacuum packed and “puffed up” unevenly. Also, several of the holes meant to screw the pieces together were covered with upholstery and had to be identified by feel and cut through just to put the thing together. I am usually a cheap furniture enthusiast, but this one had to go back. Another word of caution - I had a hard time returning this to my Target store. I was initially told that I had to return it to the manufacturer directly. Eventually found a work-around, but you may end up being stuck with it if you get a less helpful or knowledgeable team member at the store.
