Description

Ease arthritis pain and joint stiffness with the MicroBeads Moist Heat Therapy Mitt. Increasing joint movement is an excellent way to fight arthritis. Movement increases the amount of synovial fluid in the joints, which provides lubrication and helps the joints move smoothly. Exercise also strengthens the muscles, ligaments, and tendons surrounding each joint. Using moist heat prior to performing simple exercises can ease pain and help increase elasticity of tendons and muscles making them more pliable and responsive to therapy and exercise.

MicroBeads Mitts are made with a plush fabric cover that is soft to the touch and gentle on the skin. Anti-migration dots keep beads evenly distributed throughout the mitt for more consistent coverage. Most experts recommend moist heat over dry heat to help relieve pain. When comparing these two methods, moist heat penetrates deeper into the affected area, helps increase tissue elasticity, and helps decrease overall joint stiffness.

It is also less likely to cause skin dehydration, making it ideal for people with dry and/or aging skin. The MicroBeads adsorb moisture from the air and release it when heated. Simply warm pack in the microwave and the pack will maintain therapeutic temperature for 20 minutes. To retain heat longer, wrap a towel around the mitt during use. Reusable. Drug free, scent free, soothing moist heat therapy. Soft, plush fabric is comfortable against the skin. Made in USA and contains no latex.

This has been such a fantastic help to me. I am currently in physical therapy for my hand. The therapist said moist heat. I have fibromyalgia and arthritis and love this for my hand. The heat is so soothing and it is so easy to get just the right amount of heat. I would recommend this to anyone needing help with their hands for any reason.

Very Effective Relief for Arthritic Hands

The moist heat therapy provided by this product works exceptionally well for me. At first I used it several times per day, I am now using 1-2 times per day and will continue with that. It works for me, It has a comforting weight that helps the fingers uncurl and relax and the moist heat feels really good and provides relief from pain and swelling due to arthritis (mine is in one finger). It’s not a cure, but it’s an excellent therapeutic tool. 1.5 minutes on high in microwave is what I used, it can become very hot so you will have to see what works best for you.

A great product

I was hesitant about using the mitt, when I felt how heavy it was, but after the first use I was hooked. I use it every time I go to bed, even if I don't heat it up. I found that it make a great anxiety relief mitt to. I am able to fit both my hands inside and the weight, helps me to relax, oddly enough, and I am weight and texture sensitive, so I was very surprised. I am so glad I got to test the mitt otherwise I would have missed out on not only nice pain reliever when my hands/fingers really ache, but an anxiety soother.

Great for pain relief

Love this product!!! I experience pain in my hand especially around the fat part of my thumbs due to arthritis yoga Pilates and lifting grandbabies. This mitt was easy to use so comfortable and really helped relieve the pain. I even put my tired ached feet in it one at a time and it felt great. Definitely recommend

Very pleased

My wife uses these to warm her hands several times daily due to Raynaud's, a circulatory spasm due to autoimmue disease. For several years she used another brand from Amazon, but her last pair wore out and we wanted to try these which were also available on Amazon but at a higher price and with shipping charge. We have always had good luck with Target purchases, so we bought from Target instead. We just ordered a second pair for her feet. We like that they are made in the USA also. We have other Core products as well.

Microbeads Mitt

Excellent. I was pleasantly surprised by the moist head of this mitt, and noticed my fingers (achy joints) felt better after use. I can see this being a nice tool to use for my hands when they get uncomfortable.

My overall experience with this mitt has been great!! My hands are constantly cold and as I get older, they ache most days! I find that using this mitt helps tremendously in easing those aches and pains and definitely with warming up my hands. They are very soft and of very nice quality. A few microbeads make their way out of the mitt every now and then, but not enough to worry about. I had my husband try it and he said it definitely helped his hands as well. I would recommend trying this product.

Great for many hand conditions

I’m a hairdresser, and my hands get very sore and stiff after a busy week. I like this because I heat it up for one minute and 30 seconds and it helps make my hands feel a lot better. Also, my father goes to dialysis, and frequently has cold hands. He likes to use it, too. This product seems to function better than the heated gel wrap that I tested.

Hands on great therapy!

Wow! this is a game changer. I often have pain in my hand especially the fatty part of the thumb due to arthritis, exercise, lifting grandchildren. I received my mitt and was so excited to try it out. The warmth on my painful area felt so amazing and so relieving. It really helped with the pain and discomfort. I know this sounds silly but I also put my achey tired fit in the warmed mitt. It felt amazing. My 6 and 4 year old granddaughters were here when I received the mitt and they wanted to keep putting their feet in it. They too loved it.

Moist Heat

Wonderful. I get cold hands and split fingers. This mitt is just what I needed to help when my hands get cold. You get the heat all over your hands and it does not fall off like other flat pads.

Arthritis mitt

I really like this product. I really felt the penatrating heat throughout my hands. It definitely eased pain on my hands. My only negative is that I have larger hands, normally wear 2X gloves. I would have liked the mitt to be a little longer. I had carpel tunnel procedures and I think it would work tje wrists too. It is another good product with a niche that does the job. I would definitely recomend this to anyone with artists in their hands.

Super heavy

I bought these awhile back and used them twice. They do feel nice, except my pain is so bad adn these are so very heavy, it hurts me to pick them up. My bones have become very fragile and these actually hurt my hands to pick them up and get them to the microwave and over to my chair. I wish I could use them, but they've literally been sitting on a shelf for a very long time since I can't use them anymore. Very sad. :'-(
