Fun project
We got the Morgul knife. The swords and wands (from Harry Potter) are the trickiest of the make it minis. The Morgul knife took many many turns in the uv lamp to cure, but it did cure eventually. It just takes some patience. It was a fun project with my son.

Dont do it
Absolutely a waste of money. They take ages to cure and never come out of the mold properly. Don’t waste your money.

I tried twice to make the sword and it never set. I followed the directions, left it for extra time in the sun, etc. It’s a cool concept and the miniatures would be neat but I could never get it to work. Bummer.

Very disappointing. Resin never hardened. One of LOTR minis didn’t even come with the needle to put the resin in the mold. No possible way to safely remove from the mold.

Instructions need more work
My son got this for his birthday and the instructions are impossible to work. We tried to do the picture instructions but it didn’t tell us that it needed sunlight and it was night so we did all that for nothing

They suck !
These are absolutely horrible. The most recent one I bought, the little tube to shoot the resin into the mould rather kept sucking the resin back up into it. Would not fill no matter what I did. Was my third try. The second’s mould had a hole in it and leaked all the resin out. The first one literally would not dry without a UV light. Even with leaving them outside in full sun for hours in FL. Also these are stupidly expensive when they’re not on sale

Disappointment
Was very excited to try this and have a nice display for my office desk. Well turns out the resin was already harden in the bottle. Disappointed, because it seems that a main issue is the resin not drying up after many hours, yet mine did it in the bottle

Complex But Worth It
Not the most user friendly design but if you’re experienced with UV resin, it’s not that bad. I’ve managed to get all the rares but one and love them.

Scam
Did not come with enough resin and was extremely chunky. Spent 10 minutes scraping the bottom of the bottle with toothpicks to get the shown amount. There was not even enough to fill a quarter of the bottle.

A little confusing but worth the wait
Defintely read the directions I was confused at first but I did this and just let it sit in my window on a hot sunny day for hours and it was fine. They even give you an extra to try again, if you mess up. I would just say this one isn’t the most beginner friendly to the mga miniverse.

Poor curing & time consuming
After trying 3 times, I only had one item work. The sword of Narsil wouldn’t cure properly after my second attempt - the hilt broke off & the mold cracked. The Elven Dagger also wouldn’t cure also resulting in the hilt breaking off. Lastly, my only success was the limited edition Mace - super cool to get, but very time consuming (one mold & needing 6 of them). I will not buy any more.

AWFUL
Do not buy this It was difficult to put the resin in the hilt doesnt stay long enough it pops up from the pressure. So the hilt broke off and the sword is hardened inside cant get it out unless you absolutely destroy the mold but you should be able to make more so that doesnt make sense to destroy it. I do the harry potter ones no issue but do not buy the lord of the rings ones.

Waste of money
Resin not curing even with uv light. Resin molds are to thin causing the Resin to break when attempting to demold. Waste of money.

Use UV lamp instead of sun!
Honestly I had few problems with curing the resin with my nail UV lamp. I didn’t try with the sun. I had a few hilts come out without the blade, but I just added a little more resin and recured. Some of the resin was a little tough to squeeze out of the tube. But they’re so cute!

Very cute, but temperamental, different UV needed?
I had read several reviews that mention the resin not curing properly before purchase so after getting the resin into the mould and using the UV light we were very careful trying to unmould it but to no avail, the hilt came out without the blade. Added a little extra resin and put it in the cure machine for my 3d printer and gave it a couple of minutes and bingo. Had enough extra resin to make a second with glow powder from my crafting stock and just used the machine straight away - perfect and now I have both a regular and a glowing Sting. The display stand and all the tools are adorable too.
