Each candle operates with two AAA batteries (not included). A full set requires eight AAA batteries.
To turn the candle on, insert the batteries and twist the bottom cap closed until fully tightened.
To turn the candle off, gently loosen the bottom cap—there’s no need to remove it completely. A slight twist will turn the candle off.

did not work :(
I was so excited for these because they're suuuper cute, but when I put the batteries in every single one of the candles didn't work!! I followed the directions and also tried the batteries both ways just to be sure. so disappointed.

Cute, flameless candle sticks
Cute, stylist plastic, flameless candles sticks. Set of four, they fit in standard candle stick holders. easily twist off and on with a 1/2 turn. I was pleasantly surprised by how realistic they appear.
