No Customer Service
Am making a recipe that calls for two roasted bell peppers. Called Mezzetta to find out about how many peppers(equivalent) are in a 16oz bottle. No one available to answer simple question. So, I'll buy Mt Olive or roast my own.

It's the same as the other bad reviews
Expiration date said 2027, but they went bad in the fridge after a couple weeks. The other negative reviews gave 2 stars, but I didn't see the need. I got to use a third of the jar and they were average.

Product Great - Product shelf life horrible
Love the flavor -- Like sop manyothers though, I find using the whole jar in the 5-7 days shelf life (for open jars) unrealistic for many people. I would suggest a 4, 6 or 8 ounce jar be made available. If that were the case, my rating would go to a 5 star one

White mold after refrigerating
I was a little disappointed in the Mezzetta roasted red peppers. They were refrigerated immediately after opening and only after a few weeks they started getting a white mold/fungus on the top peppers. I was hoping they'd last a little longer since the best use by date was 09/2025.

Roasted red peppers
I remember buying red peppers in slices rather than pieces, and it appears that the sodium is more prevalent. What exactly is "Mild"? They were never spicy. What is going on?

A Staple in My House
These go on every sandwich I make. A bit of heaven with sharp provolone, Italian cold cuts and crusty bread. A jar lasts me two or three weeks and over never experienced a jar going bad.

Goes bad quickly
I bought a jar of these and they were good. Stored them in the fridge and when I opened the jar a few weeks later it was like opening a shaken bottle of soda. 90% of the jar ended up in the trash.

Gotta Bring Star ⭐️ Rating Up on these Peppers
Seeing the only mid-high range star rating, without reading the other reviews yet, I feel a need to help rise these peppers to their proper 5-star status. These red peppers are probably the variety I purchase the most of. I believe this was the first Mezzetta product I ever tried. I find the roasted flavor to be excellent and every jar I've ever purchased has maintained such a fresh taste. I use these to garnish any salad and particularly great for grilled sandwiches.

I Love Roasted Red Peppers
Did not realize they had to be used in 7 days once opened. Yes, I got the white moldy looking stuff. It does not seem reasonable to me that a product packed in a jar in liquid should go bad so fast. Not buying this again unfortunately.

Fire Roasting Makes these tender gems a taste explosion!
Try a Black Forest Ham Sandwich on Sourdough Bread with a heap of these fabulous roasted red pepper strips. Abondanza! Also great in salads with some tangy diced cheddar cheese. No pantry should have less than four jars on hand!

These add a fine slightly smoky lightly tart
taste to homemade pimiento cheese one of the best fresh tasting products we have found. Label states " use within 7 days or freeze " Thank you Mezzetta Family for a great product 😍

I would not buy this product again.
I used to buy the Roasted Red Bell Pepper Strips all the time because the flavor is very good. However, the last 3 jars I have purchased went bad in the refrigerator in less than two weeks. They get a white looking fungus on them so they are not usable. Too bad, because the flavor is good.
