To use an emailed Target Gift Card, open the email on your phone or print it, show the cashier the barcode to scan (or scan it yourself at self-checkout), and they'll enter the access code to apply it; for online use, sign into your Target.com account, enter the gift card number and access code at checkout, or add it to your digital wallet for in-store purchases. During the checkout process for the eGift Card, you will be prompted to enter the recipient's name and email address for delivery, which does not have to be your account email.
