The aesthetic of the chair is very pleasing, but that’s where I can barely qualify the chair for one star. It is the MOST uncomfortable chair, and I believe my 34 years of experience sitting on various objects qualifies me to say that. I’ve not had so much mid-back pain from a chair before, and as I write this I am lying awake in bed, unable to sleep from back pain. I’m unsure what’s ergonomic about it- it tilts you forward as if to say “don’t get too comfortable” and you cannot adjust this and the cushion is very thin and firm. It’s reminiscent of the Simpson’s episode where Bart’s class gets ergonomic desks in his classroom and they are so horribly shaped with this exaggerated lumbar support that no one can sit in them. I am going to take a muscle relaxer for the discomfort.

Was a great chair until it broke -at the part where the the stem attaches to the seat

I bought this chair for extra seating when clients come to my office. My order arrived quickly. The chair was simple to assemble, it took only 10 minutes. It looks a lot more expensive than it is. It's pretty comfy, has the look of expensive leather even though it's vinyl. I left off one star because it is made with fire retardant chemicals, which are now known to be bad to breathe in. I have kept the room windows open to let the off-gassing dissipate. It doesn't smell, and many pieces of furniture have this unnecessary coating. Otherwise it's a great chair.

I got this for my home office and I love it. It's ridiculously affordable for how it looks in person, which is clean and modern. It's also very comfortable.
