Mermaid Party Hats 10ct - Spritz™

Be warned - the package calls them “DIY Mermaid hats”. So you have to assemble the cute tails yourself. The app does not mention this in title or description, so def a problem for mom grabbing these at the last moment for a bday party. No one has time for that. They are also smaller than expected.

Tail didn’t really work, I thought it’d fit into a slice but it was a little adhesive that didn’t work well

The mermaid tails have to get taped on, but they really aren’t designed to bend to fit on the tip of the hat. Very disappointing.

My daughter loves party hats. Paired with the other mermaid decorations, these were a hit. Easy to build, intuitive, no fuss. They elevated our last minute celebration.

The tails don’t stick & stay well on the hats. They’re very cute though.

Attaching the tail was quick and easy; there are little tape strips on the tails that you peel off and then stick on the hat. We didn’t have them on for very long, so I can’t comment on how durable the tape is for the tails. The hat was big on my 2 1/2 year-old toddler but fit me well. The height of the actual hat seemed small to me compared to other birthday hats, but it was perfect for the occasion. I received an incentive to write this review.

The tails are not attached and you do have to peel a sticker off to attach them. The pink and orange colors go perfectly together. We used these for my daughters fifth birthday and they were a huge hit! If you’re looking for a cheap way to add a little fun to a party or get together than these are perfect for you. You could use them as made in the cone shape or you could attach a small mermaid tails on them. The mermaid tail has a small adhesive to do so. There is a fun iridescent design of scales on the hat. They shimmers in the light. The hat has the regular stretchy string to keep the hat on. I received an incentive to write this review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These mermaid hats made my child squeal in excitement for her birthday party favors. As you can see, they come as separate hats and you just peel the sticky and attach the mermaid tail to the hats. We thought it might be a fun project as friends arrive to pick their tail color to add and wear. As you can see they fit a child’s head nicely and have ample string to fit adults too. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I probably should have paid more attention to the “DIY” title on these hats as I was surprised to see that they didn’t come pre assembled. This wouldn’t be an issue had my kids not seen me assembling, and had this not resulted in them wanting “hats without the stickers.” Silver lining is that they think the hats make them unicorns without the tail attachment, so they still like them despite hating the stickers. Perfect for our very confused mermaid and sudden unicorn party. Good price and quality is good. They are cute! I received an incentive to write this review.
