Need some improvement.

Not as happy as I thought I'd be. This was my second pair and nether of them lasted as long as I thought they should. The first came apart on the medial outside of the boots. The second pair the toes came lose and I glued them back together.

Over all decent. Very heavy, bulky and non breathable got smelly fast. The lace brackets broke like second time wearing them but were still useable.

Duty boots

Likely the last pair of Rocky boots I’ll own for duty wear. Fell apart quickly. Didn’t make it a year before they were leaking and bottoms falling off. Let say this, I don’t do a whole lot of work, but I’m expected to wear these 7 days every other week and they couldn’t last a calendar year. (6 months wear), I no longer wear these boots and haven’t for some time.

1st Med FQ0911113 Light weight TSA Friendly

Folks I have purchased over 10 pairs of these in the last 8 years or so , I am in my sixties and for many years would wear this boot daily. I traveled the United States and Germany for the company I worked with and spent lots of time outdoors and in airplanes , These boots have been the best Other than the last two pairs had some eyelet and lace loop issues . I cannot say there is a better boot at least for me. Give them a try .

Not waterproof

I’ve had these boots for about 7 months and they definitely are not waterproof. After walking in about 3 inches of water for less than a minute both boots filled with water.

Design flaws and no way to get ahold of customer s

Bought 7 months ago and lining in 1 boot has worn thru at heel and other side is almost worn thru They have a price of rubber that the lining or your heel rubs on suppose to have a year warranty but you can't get thru to anyone. No option to talk to anyone then computer hangs up on you. I loved my alphas but no steel toe option. So I bought these big mistake

Not Impressed at all.....

I had high hopes that this boot would be the one, but these are very uncomfortable. They feel to me as though the insole is nonexistent as far as comfort but also even more depressing than that is the fact that after 4 days of wearing them in the field the faux leather on the toe of the boot is pealing off already. I emailed about a warranty 3-4 weeks ago and still have yet to receive a reply back.

I’ve only worn them for a couple of shifts so far, so I’m not sure about longevity, but they’re comfortable, easily broken in, and better quality than other boots I’ve had as an EMT. I always hope to get at least a year out of boots, so we’ll see how these hold up!

Comfortable but low quality

I have had mine for a little over 3 years and I'm a full-time firefighter. We run ambulance calls to the tune of 18,000 per year. The side of my boot where the tongue attaches has ripped 2 years in. For what I paid I expected these boots to last longer than 3 years.

My favorite boot

This is my second pair of the First Med EMS duty boot. I wore out my first pair and was happy to see they were still available. They're more like an athletic shoe, lightweight, supportive, and with no break in period. I really like the reflective points; not really noticeable in the light but very visible at night. The only issue I ever had with my last pair were the lacing loops breaking ( the boot is totally non-metallic, so no eyelets). Might be improved with plastic eyelets instead of the webbing loops, but don't let that minor detail stop you. By the time the lacing loops began to break I had noticed the soles wearing smooth, so they were end of life anyway. Overall a great boot from Rocky!

Wonderful Boots

I bought these as a pair or motorcycle riding boots. They fit great. They look great. They have perfect grip for keeping the bike of the pavement at stoplights. Also great in the dirt with the quads. I love them.

I work fulltime in Corrections and part time as an EMT in Wisconsin elements. Ive worn them fulltime for almost 2 years now. I'll be buying another pair since the seal is seperating. Longest lasting boot ive had!!

Very comfortable

I bought these boots three weeks ago now. They are very comfortable. Fit well. As an electrician outside in all weather, the safety toe, waterproof, and electrically hazard rated are a must. Couldn't find many boots around with all the features I wanted (zipper and boot height) as well as the above "musts". I've had Rockies before and they've always been a great boot. I expect nothing less from these boots.

Best work boots I've bought
