A: I find that the patch alleviates the itching. It also stops the cold sore from cracking and it keeps it dry. So the patch doesn’t “relive pain” but it does offer relief from the symptoms of cold sores.

Helpful with my problems

Amazing Product
Started using on day one and by day 3 it was practically gone. I always get self conscious about my cold sores. I feel like everyone stares at them. I’ve had two in the last 2 months which is abnormal for me but I’ve been extremely stressed out. The Maderma patch made me feel so much better. It made my cold sores practically unseen.

Heal fast with the patch
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really impressed with the Mederma Discreet Healing Patch! It hides my cold sore instantly and makes it so much less noticeable. The patch definitely helped with the pain and reduced the redness and swelling really quickly. It also eased the tingling and itching, and I noticed it prevented that awful scabbing stage. Super easy to use and actually helps the skin heal faster. I would highly recommend it.

I bought a 15 pack of cold sore patches yesterday.. There was only 9 in the box. The patches come off when I eat, drink, or chew gum. Good for night time use only.

Life-Saver for Cold Sores!

The moment I feel that first little tingle, I put one on and it immediately reduces the discomfort. They stick incredibly well, even through talking, eating, and drinking. The best part is how discreet they look—you can barely tell I’m wearing anything, and it makes me feel so much more confident leaving the house. Within a few hours, the redness and swelling start to calm down, and by the next day the patch has protected everything so well that it heals faster with way less scabbing. I also love that it keeps the area clean and prevents me from accidentally touching it. If you struggle with cold sores even occasionally, these are absolutely worth having on hand. It was easy to apply and remove, and I feel like the mederma patch healed my cold sore a lot faster than when I use the goopy sloppy slimy gross gels. It didn't leave a film or nothing gross on your lip like usually when feels like there's Vaseline when you use other products. I highly recommend this one!

My cold sore healed noticeably faster and the patch kept it covered all day.
