Beware: this broke within 3 months
Not usually a reviewer, but save your money and don't buy this product. I bought this item on July 6th and my husband installed them on July 9th. This toilet seat cracked last night. My husband is thin, 6'5" and 205 pounds. I'm 5' and 127. No kids. If the seat can't handle our household, I'm not sure what it would withstand. Also, I tried to submit photos of the split wood, but Target keeps blocking it by claiming they're too large. (They're 3mb, smaller than the 5mb requirement.) It's not usable and we'll have to get another from Lowes.

Not an easy do-it-yourself installation
This is NOT AN EASY TO INSTALL SEAT. Unlike other seats I have installed in the past, this seat needs a special tool (the instructions state this) and I had to ask the building’s handyman to do it. The TIP I gave him INCREASES ITS PRICE.

Cant leave a proper review on product due to shipping problems
I can't leave a proper review on the actual item given a problem with shipping - again! Item arrived damaged after waiting a week for delivery (even with expedited shipping via Target Circle 360 and Shipt) Had to make a special trip to store to return the damaged product. There is no consistency with shipping. About half the products I buy require returning due to shipping issues. Either they use excessive packaging when none is needed or they provide no protection when it is needed. Such a waste of materials, resources, time and effort.

This is a nice sturdy seat. We’ve had it on in our main bathroom for over 3 months now. It’s not loose or anything. It does have a little squeak, once in awhile, when opening or closing. But otherwise working great, no complaints.
