Does not stay together - buy if u will display only
Looks great so long as you don’t touch it. If you have a child that wants to play with it - the second you touch it, it falls apart. You press one piece in, another snaps off. This is the difference between Mattel and Lego I guess.

Get it on fire sale, or else
Mattel's "Brick Shop" is quite obviously a Lego knockoff. Fit & finish isn't quite there and the (re)placement of pieces are more difficult than they should be. They even give you a pry tool to solve what they know is an issue out of the box. No issues with the instructions, the metal parts are more a hassle than not -- the center mirror flops out easily. got it for $49 which is barely what it was worth, don't pay full price.

Far superior to a Lego high dollar model. You had to put decals for everything. This Mercedes came with everything printed on the pieces. It's more realistic than the Lego. I wish they had more models. I have bought all of them already.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a great fan of the 300SL casting and when I saw the brick shop lineup just wondered which castings would come and for my surprise the first premium was this RLC Like execution of the Mercedes. The metal accessories are a great add as well. The building process is very fun and each step makes you more and more enthusiastic about it. Great lineup.

Key item missing from kit
Just received this model kit today and the little version of the Mercedes has been ripped out of the package. The box that it came in had not been opened and taped shut again, so I can’t help but think that someone in the warehouse who pulled this item to ship, actually had the nerve to steal something from this kit before shipping it out. This is so disappointing.
