Fun for several kids to enjoy, which was surprising as all 4 our our 2-8 year old kids were playing with it at once. Not too tricky to put together and overall seems to be handling play.

The car wash was missing a piece of track that was essential for it to work as intended. I contacted Mattel, but they keep asking for the receipt even though I have sent it three times now. This was my 5 year old’s gift from Santa and he hasn’t even been able to play with it.

Love Matchbox toys! This was a knockoff or a fluke. 3yr old easily pulled apart the set up. The car wash part doesn’t really do anything except spin. The base is 5 separate pieces and loose to put together. I was so incredibly disappointed in the quality, the function, and entire concept. I sure hope matchbox isn’t going downhill. They used to make some of my kids favorite toys. Bought this for the youngest, complete bust.

The spinning part of the car wash is constantly getting stuck. It doesn’t send the cars down the track when it’s supposed to. The cars just get stuck inside and they are hard to reach

Always love the details of the Matchbox playsets. My son prefers these over Hot Wheels and plays with them a lot longer. They are easy to put together once you get through all the stickers. Unfortunately like others have said the car wash tunnel doesn’t push the car out once it’s clean. The instructions state to reset the lever for best results. It still doesn’t go through on its own. And yes my four year old finds it fun regardless but if you’re going to make a toy for a 3-5 year old maybe make it easy to use for that age group. It’s just not. Not even for the adults.

My 3 and 4 year olds like this but they get frustrated that the car does not come out of the tunnel with the first pull of the lever. I came here to read reviews and seems maybe it has to get the clean side before it will release so hopefully that’s what’s going on. Can’t lie, I’m frustrated too because otherwise my 3 year old can’t do it himself and becomes frustrated too.

Grandson loves it but we must have bought a defective one. When in lands on green it won't launch the car out we have to push it. The plastic piece won't go down allowing the car to move.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Matchbox city sets are a lot of fun. This car wash connects to the other Matchbox city sets. It has a little elevator and car wash tube in the center that spins. The car goes inside, you pull the lever to spin the tube and when it shows clean it comes out the other side and down the ramp. My kids love the elevator and the little lifts underneath. The tow truck and the corvette are nice additions to the set as well.

The car gets stopped in the carwash area and is only released when it becomes "clean", which happens when you pull the lever. It's a fairly interactive toy and holds a good amount of interest. You can also have other cars at the mechanic while playing with the car wash, they can get new tires, or worked on, etc.

This set took time to assemble. Not to hard. The stickers were fun to put on. This set is pretty neat. You put the car through what looks like a real"car" wash with 3 cycles. Then it goes down to the bottom. You have to launch it through the wash. It's fun to press the spin. It has a few vehicle repair stations at the bottom. I think this would entertain and hold a child's attention for quite a while. It held mine for a bit! I thoroughly enjoy launching matchbox cars!! Well built set! Took a small amount of time for set up. Kept me entertained for a bit and has so many things to play with. It came with a tow truck and matchbox Corvette! Which was a bonus! The spin and launch are very fun to use! The set isn't heavy but it's sturdy for lots of play time! Highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This kept my son’s attention very well. Comes with most of the stickers already on the pieces which helped minimize the time of building it. It was easy to put together and hasn’t broken apart like other tracks.

This is a fun, interactive toy. My 5 yo loves all things cars, and this was a great toy that he played with for a while. I loved the washing feature, and the various height to make the cars go down.

There are different stations that the car can travel through making it possible for multiple kids to play at once. The only negative thing was that the cars would get stuck in the circular wash tube. It may be difficult for younger kids to crank the lever hard enough for the car to pass through.

Spinner for car wash works and they love the lever to start the race down the ramp. Very basic car toy that my kids love! Durable and fun!
