Masters of the Universe & Transformers Amalgam figures
These are the first amalgam figures that Mattel has released combing the two fan fiction universes of The Masters of the Universe starring He-Man AND The Transformers with their Evil counterparts The Decepticons. The first two figures released in this mash up are Man At Arms combined with Bumblebee AND Skeletor combined with Megatron. I think that it is a fun idea to combine these two popular toy ideas that fans have enjoyed since the mid 1980's. The next two figures planned in the line are He-Man combined with Optimus Prime AND Starscream combined with Scare Glow (which will have actual glowing parts!) The figures have nice articulation and are well made with great posability. The detailed paint work on the figures is also expertly executed. The packaging art is wonderfully painted and really frames the characters with beautifully colored artwork. I think it was a smart choice to combine the Heroic characters from the two universes together, keeping them separate from their Evil amalgam counterparts. The combination of Cybertronian technology with Magical melee weapons of Eternian is a fun and interesting fantasy toy idea and inspires creative imaginary play. I look forward to seeing the future amalgams of characters from these two universes designed by Mattel and their team of artisans. The concept artist, sculptors and packaging artists really know how to bring interesting ideas into the real world in a fun family friendly way!

Great figure, but...
I love this figure and i can't wait to get the He-Man in Optimus Prime armor, my only complaint is that the feet are way to small and due to that he's difficult to stand.
