Bad production methods
Took it out of the box from the freezer after bringing it home from a reputable grocery chain carefully keeping it level in a cold car trunk on a sub freezing midwest morning on a nonstop 10 minute trip home. The filling had shifted badly and the plastic seal was 1/4 of the way off the edge of the pie. This seems like bad production pie filling practice and packaging rather than bad transport.

Delicious pumpkin pie
Pumpkin pie and pecan pie are my two favorite pies. It’s really a tossup between the two. I’m very picky about pumpkin pies, but I can tell you this is one delicious pumpkin pie. It’s my go to when I don’t want to make one. A little whipped cream on top and heaven is served on a plate.

when I opened the box, the pumpkin pie was smashed on one side. the box was fine, so it must have happened at the factory.

Best Pumpkin Pie We've Ever Had!
I rarely post info about food products, but this was the best pumpkin pie we've ever had. Crust was perfect, pumpkin was flavorful with a wonderful hint of cinnamon. Wish I still had the box so I could post the mfr info. We truly don't understand how there could be so many dislikes for the this pie Thanks for all your work!

Have been purchasing 1 per week since Gelson's stocked them for the season. So many pumpkin pies are shallow, this one is thick … essentially a deep dish like the version Erewhon offers. The crust is buttery and flakey, and the pie has a creamy texture. I top it with equal parts Trader Joe’s sour cream!

Used to be much better
I've been buying this pie for the last few years for holidays and we liked it just fine. This year something has changed. The filling was thick and stodgy and way too sweet. With enough whipped cream it was ok. Whatever you changed, please go back to your old recipe. I won't be buying it again.

Bad example of a pie!!
My pumpkin pie was horrible, crust was just about invisible ans small. No one wanted a piece of it but I tried it ... horrible!!! These pies are way to expensive to cut corners like this one was treated!! I do have photos!!!

Worst Pumpkin Pie
I was really disappointed with this pie. The flavor was overwhelmingly sweet, with a strange perfume-like aftertaste that made it hard to enjoy. The texture was fine, but the taste was so artificial and overpowering that I couldn’t finish a slice. Honestly, I would have been better off buying the store brand—it would have tasted more natural and been easier on the palate. This was such a waste of money and time for baking it!

Horrible tasting
Just ate a piece baked for Thanksgiving, I dont know if the recipe changed but it was horrible no flavor. This is been our go to pie forever, but now it's horrible why mess with a good recipe when it was already great. Now I will have to find another brand pumpkin is my favorite.

Not the same old pie. Ingredients are different.
We’ve been buying this pie for years. Unfortunately, we won’t buy it again. The ingredients have changed and it doesn’t taste like it used to. The pie itself is very bland and the crust is thicker than it used to be. Overall, it’s a negative one star. I don’t know if they decided to cut corners to save money, but they’re going to lose in the long run because people aren’t going to buy it anymore. Very disappointed.

Never in my life did I buy a pie that was half on one side and the other side totally empty. Did you forget to fill the whole pie or did you let it all slide to one side. Its in the oven but how does I serve this for Thanksgiving dinner like this. What happened to QC. For sure I wont be buying this again. Unbelievable
