Q: Does it actually connect to your tree lights somehow to turn them on, or do you just hide behind the tree and plug in the lights while someone else Bibbidi Bobbidi Boos the wand at your tree so that your kids gasp from “magic”?
A: there is a control box that hs one outlet, that you plug your light strand into. then the control box plugs into the outlet, I have asked for clairfication, as I run 4500 lights in a power strip,
submitted byCyndee - 2 months agoA: There’s a box you plug your tree into so when you wave the wand it really turns on and off!
submitted byAlex - 2 months agoA: Hi! So you plug in the bottom light string (as you would into the wall outlet) and plug it into the wand connector box.
submitted byMegan P - 15 days agoA: Hello Lisa - Thank you for your Interest! The Magic Wand Christmas Light Controller works with any electrical light string or electronic device that can be plugged into its wireless receiver. The wand is essentially a remote control for a standard electrical outlet switch. Hope this helps! - Eram

Q: How many lights will this turn on with out blowing up? I run about 4500 lights on my tree to a power strip, Can I plug the whole powerstrip into the wand box?
A: Hello Cyndee - We appreciate your interest in this item. A single Wondershop Magic Wand Christmas Light Controller cannot safely handle 4,500 lights plugged into a power strip and it would cause an overload and damage the device. Happy shopping at Target. – Alvin
