Acceptable, barely
If you remember or research the Beginner Box from Foundation's you already know what this is, just for a different set. Calling it a beginner box is a bit of stretch as it gives the impression that you can start playing right away with what's here. You can, but only if you know enough of the game to understand deck construction and from that use what's included to comprise a few decks. Yeah you can get minimum a couple of decks out of this, but not like most are probably thinking. If you expect to rip it open and have ready to play decks, sorry, there's a rude surprise awaiting you. However deck construction isn't too complex. Just separate the lands, creatures, sorcery's, instants, enchantments and artifacts into the long established colors: white, blue, black, red & green. Along with multi colored and colorless (no color symbol shown). From there construct 60 card (minimum) decks of 2-3 colors (can't run mono color with what's given here), consisting of 23-25 lands, 22-24 creatures, at least 10-12 spells and fill in the rest with artifacts or additional lands, spells or creatures. There, a crash course in the basics on deck construction. But really it'd have been better if these decks had come ready to play, instead of needing modifying.

AVOID
NOT WHAT WAS ADVERTISED. Box does not come with 8 fulls decks. Only comes with half of a deck and no commander card. Cannot make a game worthy deck with these junk cards. Board and game tokens are flimsy cardboard. NOT WORTH IT SAVE YOUR MONEY.

The item says that it will arrive prior to Christmas but when you place the order, they change delivery to a month out without the option to cancel. My delivery date now says January. 🥴

Target changed price without notification
Look, the cards are fine. Buy I pre-ordered this when it was $25.99 because it was cool that with discounts it was like $22 bucks. I remember that very clearly, but I asked my friend if she wanted them for herself. That was a couple months ago, noticed this week when I was finally charged it charged me $35 bucks with discounts. Any time I have pre-ordered something the price stayed at the lowest possible price before the release date. I'm not using Target for pre-orders again.
