The color and pattern are not what I would typically gravitate towards but I found the soft gray and yellow really makes a statement. As far as the blackout is concerned, they don’t seem to let any light in at all unless of course they’re not shut together. Makes sense to me. They aren’t too heavy. When I initially picked up the package of them they seem heavier than I expected but once I took down the old curtains I realized they’re no heavier than the old ones. They are much prettier and I really like the feel of the fabric part. The backing is an odd feeling rubbery type of material but that’s what keeps the light out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These curtains are beautiful. The detailed view up close is phenomenal. The grey/yellow/white pallet scheme makes the whole room pop. Complete blackout curtains keep the light out. Thick but not too heavy. Stitching is beautiful. Gorgeous.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m happy to have these. They’re really striking, with the birds and flowers in blue, on a solid white background. The print is pretty, and the fabric is really nice, as it’s tightly woven, high quality polyester, very smooth. They feel like high quality cotton, but polyester is much easier. The seams are well done, with no puckers or dropped threads. The hems and top are generously cut, and the grommets are in the fabric securely, for easy hanging and easy sliding on the rod. They are blackout curtains, and no light comes through. Being washable is huge, and I recommend these.

They block out 90% of the light from coming in which is perfect. They also keep the a/c in and hot air out of my room. They're heavy duty and will last a long time. I will be buying more for the other rooms in my home.

I received one set to try out and they do exactly as described! There is no light coming through these and you can't feel any wind or air!!! They are light weight and the fabric is perfect. I was expecting high quality curtains, but they far exceeded my expectations! The design is so beautiful! The lovely blue and white hues remind me of my blue willow dishes. The panels have both a formal and soft feel. It comes off as an elegant French country style. The pattern is busy, but in a pleasing way. These are heavy duty curtain panels that one can be sure will hold up to the test of time. The material is very strong and has a thick backing for the blackout material. The blackout panels work great on sound and temperature control as well. The grommets are nicely extracted which makes the curtains easy to hang rods. I prefer rod pockets but the grommets are nice on these curtains.
