The items provided are not the same as the description. Only one nail can be inserted into the metal piece, instead of two. Also, the nails are two small for the metal piece.

Curtain rod seems sturdy enough for short blackout curtains. Other than using different anchors because they were very wide, installation was smooth.

Got two to go in my son's room. Windows were about 70" across. Used the heavy duty dry wall screw in anchors like we use for everything. Worked great, sturdy. Have heavy ish blackout curtains hanging on them. Would purchase again.

You can do better

I was a bit disappointed in the quality. The square end pieces are cheap looking plastic. You can find better quality for $20 a piece. Easy to install, which is a plus!
