I was so glad to see great reviews on this item since you don't see many coat racks in this style, at this price anymore. When I opened the box the first piece I removed was a leg, where a smooth curve should have been there were multiple gouges in the wood and stained right over them. The second piece was another leg, which had not even been stained in the corners. But, legs can be replaced so I decided to check the main part of the rack. It looked as if it had been rolled on concrete with chips all over it. After speaking with the company they said this is the exception, not the rule and I hope that is true. I am sending it back, at their expense, but I still have to have someone else carry it for me to a UPS store to send it back so I decided not to try another one in its place. Very disappointed !!

Good looking coat hanger for a decent price. Solid wood (except for the metal hangers). Seems sturdy enough for plenty of coats. Easy to assemble, and it comes with the only tool you need (allen wrench). The bottom comes with four manual rubber levelers in case the floor isn’t perfectly level, simply screw the rubber pieces all the way in if they are not needed and they tuck into the coat rack’s feet.

Wonderful! Easy to assemble, beautiful, and most importantly, sturdy. Won't tip over if only weighted on one side, and made with real, solid wood, not that particle board nonsense. It might be a tad bit pricier than other items, but sometimes you get what you pay for. Worth it!

This coat rack is very sturdy and easy to assemble. It looks great and holds lots of coats and jackets My husband owns a furniture store and was impressed with the quality.

Looks as pictured. Seems sturdy enough. Fits in among real antique furniture. I think it is a little more bulky, or thick than I imagined, but that is a good thing. I found it hard to find something similar with out spending a lot more.

Chose this particular style because I thought it would be sturdy based on description. Was not disappointed. Have had coat racks previously that would fall over unless it had coats placed so it was “balanced”. Very sturdy and attractive style. I would definitely recommend this.

This is a must have for anyone looking for a traditional/sturdy/attractive/vintage-looking coat rack. I wanted something to keep our coats from being all over the place, that looked traditional/vintage. It is really hard to find unique attractive pieces like this, and I was surprised to find it at Target for such a great price! I had seen it on other sites for a much higher price, and I am so glad that I made this purchase, aside from being functional it is a classy visual piece. Fitting the legs in the slots was a little tricky, I think some pieces were cut a little differently than others, but I was still able to put it together and it is working great in the foyer of our home. Curved Queen Anne style legs are also a feature on this beautiful coat rack, which are soooo hard to find these days with everything tending to be squared off and modern looking nowadays, so I definitely recommend this piece if your love affordable unique vintage looking pieces!
