Johannes roams every day through the vast national park where he lives. He must watch everything: he is the Eyes. His task is to tell the Bison what he sees, wise creatures who from their corral advise and guide the animals of the park. However, one day everything changes. Too many humans arrive, and it seems they are going to transform the landscape. Johannes wants to find out what is happening, but to do so he must slow down. That's when he gets distracted--and is captured.

Thanks to his friends, he regains freedom. Now he wants to share it with the Bison, to free them from the corral and show them the world. It seems impossible, but a dog as fast as light is capable of anything.
