I love the minimalist style of the R500s and as with any Logitech product, it's plug and play functionality. Very easy to use and helps with displaying confidence when presenting in front of an audience.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This works as advertised, which is what's most important. So if all you care about is getting a presentation remote that works, buy this one. But remotes are not new technology, and there's a lot of competition on the market, so I expected more from a leading brand at a mid-range price. There are no bonus features; e.g., it requires batteries — better bring a spare. In terms of design, it's lightweight and fits the palm nicely, but physically it's just an unattractive lump of plastic. I buy a lot of Logitech products, but this looks and feels cheap, and given the lack of extra features, it should have been much cheaper.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought it for its bluetooth functionality so that I can use it with my Macbook without the need to connect any dongles etc. It was poor. It almost never worked and always lagged even when I was right in front of the computer. If I stayed on a slide for longer than 8 seconds, I would have to press next a dozen times before any slide changes and it would just skip through multiple slides and break my flow. With USB inserted, I had the same issues, just left often.

Nothing but frustration trying to get support. Support is just someone reading from a screen who has no real knowledge of the product. Still trying to get some sort of resolution.

My iPad is ready to go! I purchased the R500 remote so I could easily make presentations with my iPad. It works seamlessly and now I can move about during my presentation and advance my PowerPoint as needed. The buttons on the remote are intuitive too. Some other remotes have confusing buttons - not the R500. I really like that the remote is bluetooth capable as the iPad has just the one port which I sometimes need to use for charging while making presentations. Excellent.

It is simple and has only essential buttons so it is never confusing. It is easy to hold and uses common battery. Strongly recommended

We use this in a church setting where several different volunteers need to use it from time to time. It always connects quickly, and issue button layout is so straightforward that nobody balks at using it. So much better than everything else we've tried!

This Laser Pointer worked out of the box without any problems. The USB Receiver was somewhat hard to remove.

Really like this remote. It's very simple just like I wanted. The bluetooth range is exceptional. My only gripe is the laser isn't very bright which makes that function only marginally useful.
