The so-called "Sure Sealed" gasket got stuck in the bowl when I opened it after the first use. This is why it's not holding Temps. Total waste of money.

i love it took me an hour to do it. Some reviews says it took them 3 hours. not with this app. extremely helpful. thank you. they should make one in IKEA. Just saying.

I am super impressed with this loco electric kettle. First off this thing is beautiful with the black, gray and stainless steel construction. The top exhaust looks awesome with brand name LOCO cut out in it. There is a small air gap when fully closed that I thought would cause issues and not be able to choke out the charcoal but doesn’t seem to affect shutting it down after a cook and have plenty of charcoal left over. Good sized branded wheels in the back and lockable caster wheels in the front, Make for easy moving around the back patio. The temperature controller operates a fan to stoke the coals and is fairy accurate by 10-15 degrees. You can set the desired temperature and forget it, I have been using it more than my Traeger to be honest and the smoke flavor is so much better. It has a 22 1/2” stainless steel cooking grate that has hinges and folds up on the side to easily add charcoal during a cook. Also comes with a heat deflector for low and slow cooks and can be adjusted or removed quickly/easily for searing or hot and fast cooks. If you take the deflector out there is a hook on the back of the barbecue that holds it. The large foldable shelf on the side is the perfect size for preparing or pulling your protein off the grill. It has a tool holder on the side and a paper towel holder under it that I find myself using all the time. You can even leave the paper towel roll on and close the shelf too. Easy to read illuminated display lets you know the temperature of the grill, extra thermometer port temp for protein and timer. One of my favorite things is the starter tray, so easy to throw a fire starter in there and let the grill do the work. I also put wood chips in there after it gets going to add a little more smoke flavor. The ash pan is a generous size and easy to keep clean. I have put this grill through its paces doing a 12 hr brisket, pork shoulder, chicken, pizza, veggies, hotdogs and hamburgers and every cook has came out perfect. This is a high quality and sturdy kettle with beautiful fit and finish that will last a long time. If you want to impress your friends and family with some good cooking go LOCO!!
