About the Author

Heather Alexander is the acclaimed author of more than 70 books for children. She writes both fiction and nonfiction for ages five through thirteen. In addition to writing, Heather works as a children's book editor, packager, and literary scout. She lives in Los Angeles.

Adam Ming is a Malaysian illustrator who grew up on Penang Island and now lives with his wife and daughter in Kuala Lumpur. He makes witty and energetic illustrations with a comic sensibility, and is obsessed with the creative process, constantly refining his own practice.
