This portable basketball system from Lifetime Products features a 44 in. Impact® backboard with a telescoping height adjustment that adjusts from 7.5 to 10 feet high. It also includes a Streamline Rim with an all-weather nylon net and a 2.75 in. diameter round steel pole. With a streamline 12-gallon portable base, this system is the perfect beginner residential basketball system.

  • A: This system adjusts from 7.5 ft. to 10 ft with a telescoping pole. ONLY ADULTS SHOULD ADJUST THE HEIGHT OF THE SYSTEM. a. Stand behind the system and pull on the pole until the backboard rests on the ground. b. Remove the Adjustment Knob and the Carriage Bolt. Adjust the system to the desired height and replace the Bolt and Knob. c. Make sure the Adjustment Knob is secure before standing the system back up to playing position

  • A: No, the base does not come already filled, it will be empty when you receive it. You can choose to fill it with sand or water. The telescoping pole adjusts the rim height from 7.5 to 10 feet in 6-inch increments.

  • A: This model of basketball system is one of our entry level systems. The backboard on this system is our Impact style of backboard which is a solid piece of High-Density Polyethylene plastic compared to a polycarbonate style of backboard that other Lifetime systems may have. The rim on this model is our standard Classic style rim which is not designed to be used for dunking.

    Great product for the money

    We bought this for my 11yo daughter for Christmas. She loves it! The directions could've been better for assembly and that did take a WHILE to do though. Have patience.

    Easy Assembly

    When I opened the box I was worried that it was going to be too difficult to put together. After reading all the instructions I found that it was pretty easy to understand. The hoop was being used within 2 hours of starting the assembly process.

    Really nice, tough to put together

    My son loves the hoop so far. It's not easy to assemble. It took three of us and 2.5 hours, it's worth it though.

    Nice product

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just purchased product. Took me @ 2 hours to assemble with my 11 year old son and my 9 year old daughter. Price was a bit steep but other than that, so far so good. Love the YouTube assembly videos. Thx.

    Time consuming assembly

    Video makes it look easy. This is a difficult assembly for the quality of hoop. Haven't had a chance to shoot on it yet.

    Good but hard to assemble

    Basketball hoop works well so far. It was tricky to assemble, and it seems almost impossible to remove the caps once added, so that additional water can be added if necessary

    Good value for money

    Assembled easily yesterday. It appears good value for the money. One improvement to suggest for the product is making the fill holes much larger to make it easier to fill the base with sand. The holes are fine for filling with water, but makes for a time consuming process to fill with sand, and sand is recommended by Lifetime.

    Unclear instructions!

    Received this item as a gift and the instructions were unclear that you pull the poles through. Customer service sent me the poles I thought I needed and I needed all three. I am not wasting anymore time dealing with this product. Straight to the trash. Do not recommend.

    Decent item

    Had this delivered to my home. Came on Monday. Just had time to set it up. Directions very difficult to follow. 1 screw not long enough, so had to buy a longer one.

    Exceptional Customer Service

    Not worth the money

    I bought this for my nephew for Christmas. The instructions are not clear at all, there was screws and bolts missing. None of the holes lined up making assembly a nightmare. We have had to drill new holes in order to make it safe and sturdy. If the little one had not been desperate to get it up I would have returned for a refund.

    Amazing Customer Service!!!
