A: We do not recommend placing the playset on grass. Grass and dirt are not considered protective surfacing because wear and environmental factors can reduce their shock-absorbing effectiveness. One of the most important things you can do to reduce the likelihood of serious head injuries is to install shock-absorbing protective surfacing under and around your play equipment. There are different types of surfacing to choose from; Loose-Fill Materials—Maintain a minimum depth of 9 inches of loose fill materials such as wood mulch/chips, engineered wood fiber (EWF), or shredded/recycled rubber mulch for play equipment. If maintained properly, this should be adequate.

A: This Play set is recommended for children ages 3-12. However, we hesitate to give exact ages as children come in all sizes. Each swing has a weight capacity of 150 pounds and the slide also has a weight capacity of 150 pounds. The platform has a weight capacity of 600 pounds, so even adults can join in on the fun!
