Lifesmart Electric Fireplace stopped working

We bought this heater in February 2024. Up until around March if this year it worked great. Then we started getting an E1 error notification with heater shutting off. We kept trying to troubleshoot according to instructions. Moved three foot from wall, made sure nothing was around it, making sure it was plugged in appropriately, etc. It would work alittle better for a longer time. Now we cannot go above 74 degrees before it shuts off. Doesn't keep living room and kitchen warm like it did before. This was the prettiest fireplace we've owned, just didn't last long enough. Now I'm afraid it may bea fire hazard.

This is a very easy to understand unit and straightforward on how to use it. The quartz on the side panels is absolutely beautiful and adds a nice rustic touch. The actual fire display is amazing and clear and adds a homey feeling to it. It has a good size mantel on it which I prefer for knick knacks. You can lick this unit as well so little hands can't program it. There is a hilarious feature and that's that my tv remote can turn it on and off with the volume button on my tv remote. I attached a video showing the remote issue. I love this fireplace.

The only thing I don’t like is sometimes when the actual heater is running it can be kind of loud. I’ve gotten use to it but when you turn it off it’s really noticeable that the heater is loud. I would recommend still. It’s a nice elevated space heater for the home and I love that it has a remote too

It has multiple temperature settings as well as a few different brightness settings for the logs. It’s powerful enough to heat up a large area. It’s a nice size if you can’t fit a large fireplace heater and still adds a nice design element to your home. It’s a great mix of fashion and function and it’s so much nicer than just a basic space heater.

The heat turns off once the room reaches the temperature you have it set at which is nice. Has great safety features as well to avoid any accidents. Comes with a remote as well!

Wood veneer

The wood is a thin paper veneer. I tried to remove an adhesive tag on the top and the veneer started to splinter. Day one and already damaged appearance.
