Libbey Cobalt Flare Tumbler Glasses, 17.25 ounce, Set of 8

Gorgeous color and quality !

1. CHIPPED. We bought 2 boxes of the Cobalt Flare Beverage glasses. In a box of 8 one had a chipped rim ( no visible outside damage and box well packed. 2. DISHWASHER SAFE? The Target website says dishwasher safe. The Libbey website says colored beverage glasses are handwashing only?

I love the size and color, however everyone of the glasses have a defect (scratch, raised ridges, and or uneven top lip of glass. I dusted the glasses off with a microfiber cloth and tried to get a photo of each glasses' defects, so I could request an exchange to glasses without defects. Unfortunately it was hard because the light was reflecting in areas in the pictures. I found that laying he glass on it's side helped to control he reflection. I had to shine a small flashlight on the nicks and scratches at just the right angle. Well on the 3rd glass , while holding the flashlight in one hand and phone (camera) in the other, the glass quickly rolled off my counter. Now because, it isn't complete, I can't exchange them. The glasses are like what you would buy at an outlet, marked "slightly imperfect." I would hav bought them from an outlet, but would expect to pay outlet prices. I no have 7 rather than 8, which is sad.

I've been watching these glasses for awhile now. They've always been the same price, $34.99. So when I got an alert saying they were finally on sale I can't right over and saw that they are still $34.99 but Target says they're on sale 13% off of $39.99. Shady practices, Target.

I've had a set of Libbey cobalt goblets for years. Needing tumbler glasses, I wondered if Libbey still offered the quality and great price they had in the past. The answer is "Yes!!" The tumblers are beautiful quality cobalt glass of a sturdy weight. Easy to hold, they look classy and add color to the table. They wash beautifully in the dishwasher, too.

Wish they were taller like my previous ones. But quality is same
