[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first pair of Levi’s were shrink to fit back in the 70’s when I was a teen. I’ve had at least a pair of 501’s ever since. I’m much happier with the button fly than a zipper. Everyone should own at least one pair of 501s. Your wardrobe isn’t complete without this essential element.

I've wore shrink to fit levi's since 1972. they are great. Note:It says that model wears a 32' length. At 6'.1" they don't fit him... "Shrink to fit" shrink... I'm 5'9", I am long legged for my height, but I wear a 38 length. Levi's, you need to get that right !

length "32" as advertised but wish "31"was available.

I’ve been wearing STF 501’s since the ‘80’s. I still wear them as my go to jeans. I love the iconic button-fly and fit but I’m beginning to believe that they are not as good as they used to be, especially when they were made in the USA. I noticed a fray or other imperfection on the back, but only after washing them. I’ll still wear them though since I can’t return them. Also, it seems like the hem at the bottom of the legs is getting thinner and thinner than what I thought I remembered.

It's been tough buying levis 501 (what I wear), The reason being since they went to Mexico the sizes are different (sometimes) the fit can vary a lot in the same size and style of jeans. Ive go the the store (200 miles away) bought 4 pair of 501 in the exact same style, color and size gotten home and had 4 pair of jeans that all fit differently. One pr was way to small (Had to be a misprint, it was small) another pair had a fit so strange it coldn't have been for a human. It was an extremely strange fit. I just ordered these Shrink to fit 501 just like they said to, a size bigger in waist and 2 inches in length. The waist feels more like a size smaller and the length didn't seem to change at all after washing. It's hard to know what to order or buy anymore as consistency in sizing and fit can vary so much now. I just ordered another pair of these 501 but went 2 sizes bigger in the waist. Question is, will they be 4 inches to big? fit just right? Still be to small? I love Levis but I wish they would bring it back to America and start getting consistent on their sizes and fit.

I managed to find them for him in about 10 minutes! I checked the price and it was great. I gave him three pairs today and he seems really excited.
