Lenovo Laptop
I got a very good price for a good computer. The downsides are you need to purchase Microsoft software and according to Lenovo the warranty is already expired. The software was a trial and be aware of this when purchasing.

Hey Pete, thanks for choosing Lenovo! Regarding the warranty, we recommend reaching out to Lenovo Support here: 877-453-6686, for assistance, as once given a proof of purchase, they may be able to set your manufacturer warranty start date to align with the date of purchase and the length of coverage to its original duration. We are glad to hear that your IdeaPad has been quite good overall, and we appreciate you taking the time to share this with us.

Decent
It works okay for the price but it was incredibly slow even for 8gb of RAM. Sometimes it would take a second to respond if I clicked on things. Otherwise it was decent enough for a budget computer. I returned it because the delay annoyed me.

Fine for barebones client ystem - after some work
I bought this in a pinch to sign onto a remote desktop for work (VMWare Horizon - Client), and some local work emails and paying bills. As a client, it's fine. The processor is new enough (12th generation) to decode AV1, which is cutting edge for efficient video decoding. It does come with Windows in S mode, which prevented me from installing my VMWare client. The Microsoft Store wouldn't let me disable it either. But I did a clean install using a Windows 11 install USB, and then it was fine. This part was annoying, but I can see how it would be okay for beginners in preventing them from installing silly junk from the internet. The keys rattle a bit when typing, so I think the quality is possibly shady, but for the low price, I can't complain.

Underpowered Laptop
Scores 2604 on Passmark which is far below what would be acceptable. This laptop might be okay for basic school work & would be miles better than the $200-$300 Chromebooks on the market but for anything even slightly intensive like editing a video on it or playing any game at all it will suck. They advertise games on the screenshots for the laptop which is a joke considering it runs on the Intel UHD graphics. You might could play League of Legends on it but even that would be pushing its limits. If you’re on a budget & need a laptop in a pinch for school or a last minute exam or something I’d say you should buy this over a Chromebook but for anything else spend another $200 & get a laptop in the $600 price range it will be much better. What I can say is the build quality is solid, the keyboard sucks but the laptop frame feels very sturdy & it is light weight as advertised. The keyboard is tinkertoy tho & feels horrible to type on. What else I can mention is the SSD & Processor as you can see from the Passmark image are the laptops strongest points, the 8GB of ram just simply isn’t enough in todays works, Chrome itself with enough tabs open will eat that 8GB up & Windows itself uses a good bit even just idling. Look for a laptop with minimal 16GB not 8GB. But again the SSD on this laptop is probably the best thing in it as can be seen from the Passmark score.

Hey, Bryce W, we are sorry to hear that this IdeaPad missed the mark for you. You made a great point, as each person should choose a device that best meets their needs and preferences. With Xbox Game Pass, as you mentioned was advertised, allows users to stream games for cloud gaming, leaving minimal load on the device itself. We appreciate you taking the time to write your review and hope that you know that your voice has not gone unheard.

Beautiful computer

Abyss Blue 15"IdeaPad.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the keyboard.I also like how the keyboard lights up.For the most part I am content with how this laptop performs. The screen has gone black and flashed for a couple of seconds two or three times. The taskbar was visible a couple times while using full screen in you tube.I prefer to use a button to turn the power on instead of it turning on when the screen is lifted.
