this is an amazing set! the building experience was so good especially building the front part of the car, i loved all the building technices that make this car so awesome i would highly recomend this car to any one who likes lego or cars i own many of the speed champions sets and this one is by far the best 10 out of 10!!!

It’s fine…
The finished product looks great but everything to get to that finish is average. The directions are a bit unclear and the dark blue vs black pieces in the instructions can be hard to differentiate. Also the rear assembly is very fragile. Almost to the point of needing to be super glued together. The price keeps going up but Speed Champions still has some value to it.

Thank you for sharing your building experience! It must have been frustrating assembling the rear of your LEGO® set when it feels so fragile. We'd suggest revisiting the build as there may be a piece slightly off from where it's meant to be and press each piece tightly together. We wouldn't recommend gluing your bricks together as it can cause them to change shape and we think it’s way more fun to be able to take your sets apart and rebuild them. Very fun build. Really enjoy the Speed Series and this was no exception. Not the most advanced build but to make the contours like so good in the car they create some harder than average building techniques that make it look fantastic. Highly recommend this to any Speed enthusiasts

Bought this as a quick pickup to add to the speed champions collection. I can honestly say one of the best builds yet of the series, there are so many new techniques to get the angles and look of the car. Designer did an amazing job 😀

I bought this as a display piece. It is a fun build and the finished car looks good. Nice change to have a speed champions build with only a few stickers. Sturdy enough to make a good car to play with for younger Lego fans.

The Lego set of my racing dreams...
I was very excited to purchase a Speed Champions set and as soon as I saw my favorite car in Lego form, I knew which one to buy. After building it, I was happy with how it turned out and thought it was cool to see how the many building techniques came together. The one thing I noticed was that it seemed a tad bit....Delicate. I then proceeded up to my room and placed it for display on the dresser. That was the last mistake I would ever make with it. It being equipped with wheels and me forgetting to engage the parking brake, it slid right off the dresser and shattered as it touched the floor. The shock of this was equivalent to crashing an actual car, and due to the fact that several pieces are still MIA, I fear I shall never fully rebuild the set again.... Great buy, just be careful.

He is only seven and this one was a little bit harder for him, but he worked through it and got it done. My son wants to keep this one for display because he was so impressed. It’s well made and strong. The car looks super cool and I like my child doing something without screens for once. I would definitely recommend.
