Good for animals and diversity
I see why this wasn't popular with kids to build. But if you get on sale, a great was to get cute animals and more diversity. There is a snowboarder with partial arm and a dog in wheelchair. Excellent for characters, boring for assembling. One day was just a premade box and dots to represent a ball chest. The animals are adorable.

Awful!
We have had a few lego advent calenders and this one is such bad value for money. Very little building to do, some days just an animal in the slots, other days just some food for the animals. Really really poor quality and a huge disappointment when it is opened.

Awesome calendar lousy layout
This is the second year we have done these for our grandchildren and this is the second year, that the doors don’t match what is behind the door. All the 24 days are correct for the calendar, but they are just behind the wrong doors. Some of them are pretty easy to do, but others, when they don’t come close to matching what is on the door and it makes it frustrating for the child and grandparent to figure out what the legos are trying to make. This is a great idea, but the Implementation is poor at best.

Missing and wrong parts
Bunny on the 20th was missing, Xmas tree kit on the 21st instead of a train. Not just one thing but there were a few things were wrong. How disappointing it is. I don’t think I will buy this again next year.

Not Recommended
Our grandkid loved the City advent calendar, but doesn't much care for this one. The items to build are boring (e.g., arches) and in some cases inappropriate, like poop that comes with a dog.

the title tells you exactly what you have purchase
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I purchased for me 4 year old granddaughter knowing that I would help her each day. This has brought wonderful playtime and strengthen her building skills.

Lego Friends Advent Calendar 2023
Very disappointed. Paid a lot of money for this calendar and it is a joke. Tiny pieces of figures, with not much to build. My daughter is very disappointed, always can see the in the morning when she goes to open it she is upset.

Favorite advent calendar ever
My daughter is very happy with this advent calendar. She jumps out of bed every morning, excited to see what each day holds. 10 out of 10 highly recommend.

Gutted
'its the most wonderful time of the year', or at least that's how the song goes. But it wasn't on the 1st December when my daughter opened the long anticipated first door of this advent calendar to find a hand missing from the character. My kids are fully aware of what disabilities are, I've taken time to make sure of that, we had the chance to go to the Invictus Games recently, they are open minded and respectful, they know what disabilities are, they have friends at school with disabilities, they know what's happened to some soldiers in Ukraine recently etc. I don't think the first day of advent is great timing to force me back into that discussion with my child. Maybe she trod on a landmine, don't worry I'm sure they'll fix her up with a prosthetic hand, and have a good day at school. The snowman which was in the advent calendar my son opened did not have any disabilities, maybe try without the carrot nose next year so we have inclusive snowmen as well.

Worst Advent Calendar So Far
We've done probably a dozen Lego advent calendars (Star Wars, Harry Potter, Friends) over the last few years. This Lego Friends is absolutely the worst we've seen so far. Where are the things to actually build? My kiddo loves animals as much as the next kid, but every day she opens a tab that holds a single person/animal figure (which have been over half of them!) I can see the disappointment on her face, while her brother consistently gets actual build items in his Star Wars calendar. She's still holding out hope, but I've already seen what else is in the box and I can't bring myself to break her heart. I thought the "Friends" line was supposed to encourage girls to BUILD Legos, not be happy with mediocre & stereotypical themes.

Oh no! Sorry that everything wasn’t awesome with this advent calendar. We work hard to make sets that everyone can enjoy and your feedback helps us make them even better. We’ll share your comments with our design teams to help with future sets.

Not worth the price.
My daughter is happy to open it everyday as for a child it is just a happy moment. But for example we opened 8th box and still not sure what it is. She is just losing interest in calendar by every morning and it saddens me as i wanted her to have a great experience. It should be more advanced for us to buy it next year.

Pathetic effort
We’ve been buying the lego star wars advent calendar for my son for the past few years. This was the first year that my daughter was old enough to have one so we chose the lego friends calendar for her. This is a pathetic effort compared to the star wars calendars. There is mostly no building and very little content in each daily packet. They open their calendars together daily and my daughter is left feeling pretty envious of my son’s creations.

Incorrect builds
We are on day 3 of my daughter’s advent calendar, and everyday has a build in the square that is NOT the same as the picture. I’m quite certain the entire calendar will be in the wrong place. This has become quite frustrating for my 8 year old, as we are having to guess what her build is on a daily basis.

That isn’t the experience we want for our LEGO® fans! It may be the inner tray is ‘flipped’. If you open the end of the box, slide out the tray and flip it, that will usually fix the issue. (You can retape the box and not tell.) If that isn't the problem, let us know at LEGO.build/Service-BV so we can help further!

Very Disappointing
This is no value for the money! I wish I had looked more closely at what actually comes with the set. Most days there is no building to speak of. Six days are nothing more than a small animal with one block for a stand. Really? Only 2 mini figures. One day is only a few pieces of animal accessories like dog bones, a carrot, some food pieces? Why didn’t they at least come with the animal? Compare to the city set which I was happy with for my 5 yr old grandson. Every day this is something to build. My 8 yr old granddaughter will be sadly disappointed. Just look carefully at what you are getting before buying.
