An exceptional LEGO City offering that delivers va
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this product as part of the influenster program. As a longtime LEGO enthusiast myself and with an almost 6 year old, I was elated that I was given the opportunity to get the LEGO City Submarine and Helicopter combination set for my child. I've always loved how LEGO City sets blend realistic vehicles with imaginative play possibilities, and this underwater/aerial rescue theme seemed perfect for sparking creativity. My Experience From an adult perspective, I was genuinely impressed with this set. The building process was satisfying without being overly complex, offering just enough interesting techniques to keep me engaged. The submarine features clever design elements like the transparent cockpit dome and articulated mechanical arms, while the helicopter has that perfect balance of sturdy construction and detailed features. The color scheme is vibrant but realistic, with the emergency vehicle colors really popping against the deeper blues of the submarine sections. I particularly appreciated the thoughtful inclusion of accessories like underwater cameras, rescue equipment, and marine life elements that create a complete play scenario. Too Advanced for My Child Unfortunately, my excitement wasn't fully shared by my child, who struggled with the build. The set proved to be a bit beyond their current abilities - the small connector pieces were frustrating for their little fingers, and the multi-step building sequences required more patience and spatial reasoning than they've developed so far. The official age recommendation is actually spot-on, and probably in a year or two,it’s perfect for my child. That said, we've found a happy medium where we build together, with me handling the trickier sections while explaining what we're doing, which has become a wonderful bonding experience. The Unexpected Joy What started as an unexpected gift for my child has unexpectedly become one of my favorite LEGO projects in recent years. I've displayed both completed models in our playroom, and they genuinely look impressive enough that adult visitors often comment on them. The set has rekindled my own joy in LEGO building, reminding me why these brick sets continue to appeal across generations. While my child will grow into this set eventually, I've already gotten happiness in personal enjoyment and quality time spent building together. For parents considering this set, I'd recommend it without hesitation - just be prepared to provide building assistance if purchasing for younger children, or better yet, embrace it as an opportunity for shared play. Sometimes the "too advanced" sets become the most treasured, both for the challenge they present and the collaborative experience they create.

Great set!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lego can’t never disappoint. This set is super cool. It took my daughter 1 hour to build the helicopter. Pieces can be combined to build new vehicles too. Really cool set. I wish the vehicles had more movement but definitely recommend.

The children loved it, and since it is made of good material, I estimate that it will be durable. Once assembled, you can’t even imagine that it’s made up of Legos. Very good!

Fun in a box
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This set comes with over 850 pieces and it also has characters. They are mix and match so that is going to make it fun. There are instructions for each set and they are labeled for easy assembly. There are small parts so I would keep to age on box to be safe. Can’t wait to have fun creating these.

Multipurpose fun
This set was very creative in that all 3 vehicles can be mixed & matched & thus has enhanced build, & play features. Would highly recommend it. The building was enjoyable for a 9 year old boy. He had noticed the variability of the set from the Lego magazine. He has created a variety of combinations. Great fun! Great designing Lego!
