Q: Does this have a switch? Will this work with a smart plug to automatically turn on and off?

Q: Can I attached this item to Wondershop string lights? I have wondershop string lights on my fence and would like to plug the Santa into a light strand. Does it use the same power as a light strand?
A: This item MUST be used with the included ac/dc power adaptor. If the light string you are referring to has a standard female electrical plug at the end of the set, then yes, you can plug this item into the end of that set. If that set of lights uses its own ac/dc adaptor and has a round low voltage plug at the end, then you cannot use this item with those lights. DO NOT remove the adaptor from this item and then plug it into the end connection of another set that uses the same round low voltage connection.
