Q: Is this toy BPA free?

A: We are firm believers in safety first. All of our toys pass rigorous independent safety tests before we release them into the market. All of our products are non-toxic, phthalate-compliant, lead-compliant, BPA compliant, proposition 65 compliant, no mercury and comply with U.S. safety laws. All plastic contains at least a trace amount of BPA by design and when a product states BPA Free means that the BPA levels are below the levels allowed to be compliant with testing standards. Our products fall into the same category as our competitors in which the trace amounts of BPA in the plastics are so far below industry standard allowance that it cannot be detected and is completely safe, but we understand that stating "BPA Free" while true to industry standard is not true to exact meaning so we use the term "BPA Compliant"

Great Nesting Toy
This toy is fantastic. Each fruit has a slightly different texture, and kids love the different shapes, faces, and textures. I work with kids, and I love the different ways kids use this in play and how it encourages language and motor skills. Highly recommend!!!

I don’t know any 18 month old who would be able to open and close this toy on their own. It was difficult for an adult to manage let alone a toddler with tiny hands.

Dogs like it better than my toddler
These were too difficult for my toddler to pull apart herself. I thought after time they would loosen up, but they never did. Instead, our dogs like to push the halves around the house. At least someone is finding them entertaining.

Bought for an 18 month old
It’s a good toy but it’s not for you if you’re disorganized. It’s surprisingly easy to lose pieces of this in a large house. We have recovered all pieces, but I’m surprised we did. My three year old plays with it more than her 20 month old cousin who the toy was for.

Great learning toy!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am always impressed by toys from Learning Resources. I am a developmental therapist and regularly purchase and use their toys during therapy. The Big Feelings Nesting Fruit Friends is perfect for teaching social emotional skills and emotions, but also can be used to teach colors (ex What color is this strawberry?), sizes (ex which one is big? And which one is small?), identification of the fruits, and also fine motor skills (nesting and opening), and so much more. I just love that about Learning Resources. Their toys are well thought out and can be used in many different ways. I also like that they include a guide to inform you of different ways to teach with their toys, sometimes they have thought of ways to use the toys to teach my patients that I wouldn't have thought of. They also have similar guides on their website with that info too. The quality of Learning resources is always 10/10 and the Big Feelings Nesting Fruit Friends holds up to that standard. I have LR toys that I have used for almost 2 years with 40+ kids a week playing with them that are still in perfect condition. They last forever! I'm impressed with the Big Feelings Nesting Fruit Friends!

Such a Cute Learning Tool!!

Cute toys
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter really loves them. She spent more than 30 minutes everyday to play with them. The toys help her learn how to arrange from small to big and strengthen her motor skill when she opens and closes them. They are hard to open at the first them. But after that, she can open them by herself. They have a cons that the emotional faces are quite similar, so I don't think they are helpful for emotional learning.

Expanding kids minds

The only downfall is they only go inside each other. You cannot stack the tops on each other . I have seen similar toys and the kids love stacking them. Otherwise this is a great toy.

My nephew is completely enamored!
