Petal and Pup Laurel Dress - Black 10

This dress is so cute and fits true to size. The fabric is a little wrinkle-prone, but it's nothing that a steamer or hang drying can't fix

This is a really well made dress, very pretty dress. I sized up to a large but I’m positive the medium would’ve worked. I wanted to make sure the chest wasn’t to tight. Will get this altered to fit but at least I know now as this is my first purchase from this company.

Overall, I’m happy with this dress. I ordered a size medium, I am 150lbs and 5’6”. I have a larger bust (34DD) and I actually found that the dress was a little loose/large in the bust area. I will have it tailored as I’m very happy with it otherwise.

I tried several P&P dresses recently, but had trouble with fit; most dresses were too small. But this one fit well, and I suspect would fit many. It has features that allow for flexibility, and minimize the need for alterations. Which is great if you are in a hurry, like I was! The straps are adjustable via those sweet bow ties, so both convenient for fit and look fantastic. The bows also provide more arm coverage/comfort in that area than one would expect depending on how one ties. Additionally, the back is stretchy, but in a dark color or with long hair it is barely noticable (and bonus, the texture kinda hides bra back fat). Lastly, the fabric is very high quality, and combined with the classic shape plus length the dress was perfect for the kinda fancy wedding I was attending. I thought the back could take away from the classy look I was after, but it worked for all these details combined. I had the skirt altered some as I am short but have a large bust so needed the larger size, but it was simple. And boom! Now I have a very comfortable dress for many occasions that I love. So happy with this purchase, and ease of fit!! Highly recommend!

Very good quality. Only complaint is that there isn’t a hook at the top of the zipper

I loved the fit of this dress! I just wish it had the eyelet clasp at the top of the zipper to make zipping up the dress alone easier - I had a hard time doing it on my own since it didn’t have that clasp

Fits well and runs slightly big, which is nice. Got here quickly in the mail for an event that I had in 7 days. Recommend for anyone in need of something quick that will make you look amazing for a fancy event out!
