I’m 57 and have tried many different primers. Laura Mercier’s is very hydrating and a little goes a long way. I also have sensitive skin and the primer doesn’t burn or make my skin red. It’s now become a staple in my makeup regimen!

I bought this primer thinking it was like it has always been but it's not improved. It is thin and watery so I have never understood why a company would change a formula for the worse not for the better. Plus the tube is smaller with less product. I had to send mine back and scoured the internet to find the previous product.

I actually ended up buying it twice because I thought it was my mistake, that I had ordered the wrong product - I even tried a “chat” with your bot but it just no longer a great product.

I bought 4 of the top rated primers, even the ones recommended for mature skin.Pure Canvas Primer Hydrating is there VERY BEST!!I am 70 years old and unfortunately never wore sunscreen, even though I've lived in Dallas, Los Angeles, Honolulu and now Orlando. I also had a total hysterectomy at 35 so I immediately was post menopausal. I thought I was cute and never thought about getting old. For me, I now wear a mineral sunscreen, let it dry and then my Laura Mercier Pure Canvas Primer Hydrating then makeup... If I want to. If you have dry skin, try this primer!! It's the best!

I have used this primer for YEARS - I just restocked and this new formula is disappointing. I used to just put this on during the summer and it had a tiny bit of coverage to it - not any more. White and yucky. Very sad!
