    Perfect, yet not perfect.

    I love that Lands End makes these shorts! They are comfortable and I love the pockets. Perfect for swimming, walking the beach, or for water fitness classes. The only drawback is that the waistband and the pantry on the inside is NOT chlorine resistant and it fades fairly quickly.

    These shorts are mostly made of polyester and are noisy when you walk. Pockets are shallow. Has a nice waist band. They fit well and the length is good.

    Yes, but...

    These are great shorts for summer adventures; I appreciate the longer leg style. Unfortunately two things took them down to "average" for me: * They are oddly high-waisted, even in the petite sizing. I got the style without the panty because I just wanted to wear them as quick-dry shorts, so this may or may not be an issue for you if you plan to wear them to swim in. * The pockets are absolutely useless. The cutout for the pocket is huge, but because of the design of the pocket itself and lack of interior fabric EVERYTHING falls out - car keys, ID, and don't even think about trying to put your phone in them! So why did they even bother?

    Love the pockets.

    Longer swim shorts are great for active people. I like them for the extra coverage for sun and modesty. Unlike skirts they don't ride up in the water. I am 5' 5" and 133lbs and the size 6 fits nicely.
