    Easy to wear

    I’ve bought several pairs of these trousers and find they wash, wear and fit well. Took a star off because they don’t have the card pocket which I find very useful.

    Superbly comfortable

    This is the third pair of Starfish trousers that I have bought, they are super comfortable really thick material that hangs nicely… No flapping around your legs! The only negative… no pockets

    quo vadis Lands'End?

    I have been a customer for 18 years. Although I live in Europe, I enjoyed buying Lands' End products because I valued their quality. Now I wonder what happened. Where are you going, Lands' End? Towards H&M? The quality is no longer the same. Who came up with the idea of cutting corners on the quality of your flagship product? I have many pairs of Starfish trousers, but the ones I bought 3-4 years ago are definitely of better quality than the ones I just bought. I am very disappointed. Some time ago, I saw a lot of negative reviews, but I thought you were reading what your customers were writing about you and that the quality had improved. Unfortunately, I was wrong.

    Legs are very wide

    I was not happy at all with these pants. The fabric felt fine, lining is thin but helpful, pocket is smaller than on previous models. I will be returning them because they are not straight leg pants like any previous straight leg pants I've seen. The legs are voluminous from top to bottom and much more like wide leg pants. the width of these at the hemline is wider than the flared version that I bought last season.

    Standing the test of time

    More sporty fit (think straight leg yoga pant)

    I tried 3 of the “sport fit” pants in the same size, looking for the best one. All were stretch cotton and black. This starfish pant has a lower wait line, 2-3 in below the belly button. It’s got more of an athletic cut, and hugs the hips. I’m 5”6 c~160. Small (6-8) was too tight for my liking.

    Attractive and comfortable

    I have recently discovered how comfortable these pants are, and purchased them in five colors. They look great and hold their shape. The only drawback is they have no pockets, like the new sweats have.

    Excellent comfortable trousers

    I now have all these trousers in different colours. They are such good quality. I have the petite size, being 5ft 2ins but do wish the length could be 1inch shorter !

    Comfy but elegant

    Extremely comfortable trousers, but elegant enough to wear for " smart" too. No pockets, but that keeps the line smooth. I have a black and a blue pair now

    Not straight leg

    Just received and they are not straight leg. They are wide leg so wondering just how wide the wide leg is! Like the midrise (PM) as I hate the feel of high waisted. The pant leg does pouch out at sides at the hip/high thigh giving a jodphur look. They are going back.

    Fits great but no pockets

    The Starfish midrise straight leg pants fit well and good quality. My only regret is it doesn't have any pockets! I would give these a 5 star if they had even one pocket!

    Good value when on 'sale'

    Previous similar trousers had a little zip pocket that you could carry a key or a credit card in. No pocket in this pair which was a disappointment but otherwise good quality and true to size.

    Too long

    These are my favourite trousers by unfortunately they are 4ins too long for me and not available in shorter length

    Help!

    I love the Starfish line of pants! I love the cotton, the weight of the fabric, the stretch, everything! The only thing I ask Lands' End is to go with a true navy rather than the Deep Sea Navy. These pants would be great in mini plaids and checks, and other than the black, there just needs to be better color choices.

    Disappointing

    I have bought these before and was excited to get them in the sale. However they are not the same quality and the leg length is shorter...in fact too short and won't be keeping.

    Really wierd fit! Different than previous pants.

    I bought two pairs, one in the charcoal gray and one in navy, size PM. They are sized NOTHING like the ones I already have. These are unwearable. They are huge in the butt and legs, and they flare out right under the waistband and down through the hip. They look like jodhpurs that are way too big. The rise is also way too low. I would get a thigh rash having the seams down there. The fit has changed so much and not for the better. I'm so disappointed because I love the colors, but these are going to charity - I don't want to ship them back, it's too expensive and not environmentally friendly. Hopefully there is someone out there who can wear them. No more Lands' End for me.
