Lands' End Women's Cashmere Sweater

Ought this as a Christmas present. Looks and feels good.

I bought this sweater in the Bright Evergreen Donegal color a year ago and I wear it pretty much every week in the cold months- which is over half the year in Alaska. It's soft without being itchy, it's warm and lofty, and despite Land's End's usually boxy fit it actually is pretty flattering. The color is rich and gorgeous, however the Donegal color includes flecks of bright yellow that are not visible on the website images. They clash horribly with the evergreen color, making it look like flecks of vomit. I liked the base color so much that I decided to use a pair of tweezers and pick all the yellow spots out. Every. Single. One. The extra colors are just twisted over top of the yarn, so they lift out fairly easily. Still, it took hours. I love a good monotonous task (I like knitting) and the end result was worth it- the color is perfect without the yellow and it's my favorite sweater I've ever owned. So I bought the same sweater last week in the Rich Burgundy color, thinking surely they wouldn't pair yellow with that color as well. It just arrived and... Same yellow dots. It clashes just as bad in this color, which is a shame because the burgundy is also very pretty. I'm not sure if I'm going to go through the same effort to improve this one. I hope Land's End takes the yellow out of these two colors, and adds nicer color options on top of the ones already offered. I'm afraid to try the gray Donegal and be 0 for 3 on this problem!

Received this two days ago. I bought the deep sea navy, which is a lovely colour and these jumpers are really soft and comfortable and wash well with care. I did send for two sizes but am keeping my usual M size as the next size up was much too big, so will be returned. I bought when on special offer, so another cashmere to add to my wardrobe at an incredible price!

Ordered the vintage lime green jumper in two sizes to try in the sale. Neither size fitted well; the jumper is a rather odd shape - long and narrow in the body - and even the looser fit was an unflattering shape. I was also very disappointed in the colour - much paler and more washed out than anticipated. So both sizes are going back. I bought a Lands End cashmere crew neck jumper a few years back, and - much like a number of other Lands End items - the quality and cut was far superior to the current style. What a shame.

I have bought several of these when on offer and live in them in the winter. They wash well and keep their shape. Very comfy!

Soft cashmere in an attractive colour. Neatly shaped and not baggy.

It is an excellent product and good value at the sale price . Unfortunately the colour did not match my expectations and didn’t suit me , so sadly returned it .

This a very cosy and light weight to wear. I bought a pink and a black one and can recommend this product. It washes and easily dried. Please note that this particular jumper comes up small so definitely size up. I hadn’t realised this and ordered size medium which is my usual but had to return for a size large which is perfect.

Fits perfectly. Lovely colour. I was a bit concerned when I read it comes up small, but it doesn't. No different to the other ones I have bought over the years

Sleeves too long and cannot turn cuffs up as rib area too thin. Will return

I loved this fit and feel but I wore it once to work and went to wear it again and it already has holes in it. I haven't even washed it yet! I sit at a desk at work so there is no reason for the holes other than poor quality.

This jumper was a great colour for me and so soft but had to send it back as way to long. Unfortunately it didn’t look right on me. Disappointed that not only was the fit not good but then had to pay to send it back which is very unusual these days

Having had this for a couple of weeks, I am happy with the fit, comfort and look of this jumper.

I bought this and have worn once - it is lovely and warm and not bulky under winter coats ideal for layering. Beautiful colour.

I own many of these sweaters …. black, navy, brown, lavender, green, off white,… I would love if you could offer a solid dark grey (not the donegal). The quality is very good. The sweaters do not pill.

I'm 5'10" 145 lbs. Ordered Med Tall. The body is definitely long enough but the sleeve length (very important to us tall girls) barely reached my hand!! Very disappointed.

Being able to buy the petite size in knitwear is a godsend. Getting a good bright red can be quite difficult so this one is brilliant. I would have preferred it a little shorter - I think that would look more modern.

I purchased 2 of these sweaters in petite last year in light blue marl and black/grey marl and really have enjoyed them. The measurements of the sweaters both match the item measurement chart. I ordered 2 more (deep sea navy and washed lavender heather) but they are too small. The length is a full inch shorter and the chest is 2" smaller in both sweaters. I would definitely advise ordering a size up. For reference I'm 56 years old, 5'0" and 113 lbs and prefer a slightly looser sweater with the option to put a shirt underneath if needed. Would have given 5 stars but am only giving 3 now due to the aggravation of having to return both sweaters.
