    Perfect for beach walking!

    I like that they are longer shorts, and very quick drying after getting wet. I bought without the attached panty and glad I did. Usually wear with regular panties since I don’t swim in them. Perfect for beach walking! They do make a slight swishing sound when walking, but at the beach you don’t hear it with the breeze and wave noise. Would love to have deeper pockets- you can’t keep anything in these except a few sharks teeth or beach pebbles. Ordered my usual size and they fit great and very comfortable. No chafing! Happy with this purchase!

    Perfect, yet not perfect.

    I love that Lands End makes these shorts! They are comfortable and I love the pockets. Perfect for swimming, walking the beach, or for water fitness classes. The only drawback is that the waistband and the pantry on the inside is NOT chlorine resistant and it fades fairly quickly.

    long length so great coverage

    Like longer length bc I wanted to cover surgery scars and veins ... appreciate these shorts have deep pockets (although, zippers or velcro would make them even better) ... I bought built-in undies version and is comfortable ... I bought one size larger to make sure easier to get on/off when wet.

    Might run big

    The orange-y peach color ran slightly big on me though I ordered according to the size chart, however I also purchased the same pair in black and it fit perfectly. Gave it 5-stars because these Board Shorts are a high quality item: style, material, colors, comfort and overall quality.

    Great for wearing to water sports or around a pool

    I bought this for my summer vacation. I wore it while kayaking and at the pool. These shorts make it easier to move around a hotel without wearing a swim cover up. My suggestion to Lands End is to include zippered pockets or some other way of fastening pockets. If at a water park or hotel pool or out on a lake or river, it would be nice to have a place to stash keys and ID without worrying about these items falling out of the pockets.

    Great material

    I bought these for the pool and they are perfect. I’m 5’4” and weigh 145 lbs. The size 10 fits perfect and the longer length hides my chubby thighs. I bought one pair with the attached panty for the pool and another without for days I just need waterproof shorts. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a versatile pair of shorts. Light weight and great to pack for vacation too.

    Worth it!

    I got both a swim skort and these swim shorts. I wore the skort once and it's going to be donated to a local thrift shop. These shorts, though, are wonderful! They are swim material, but have less of that annoying rustle sound. The pockets are pretty good, but I wish they were a little deeper--don't try to put too much in them, but they do hold your stuff (and your hands). The length is wonderful. Now I won't have that annoying chub rub feeling that I hate. These were comfy immediately. Another win for Lands' End.

    Great Suit

    This swimsuit from Lands’ End is so perfect, I’m convinced it was designed by a team of swimsuit scientists who studied my body in secret and whispered, “We can fix this.” It’s got just the right amount of stretch, coverage, and magical fabric sorcery to make me feel like a glamorous mermaid—except I can actually walk to the snack bar without tripping over a tail. The colors haven’t faded, the straps haven’t slipped, and somehow, even after an entire afternoon of cannonballs, I still look “poolside chic” instead of “washed-up seal.” Lands’ End, you’ve outdone yourselves—I’m ready for summer, and possibly a swimsuit modeling career I never knew I needed.

    Excellent.

    Love these! Perfect length for my long legs and hit about mid thigh. Pants are a bit swishy (loud) before you get them wet. Could be because my thighs rub. Pockets are worthless, can put anything in them because they are so small. Love them though. Bonus that they are SPF 50. .
