Nice bed but some problems

We like the bed. It looks good and goes well in our room. But one piece arrived damaged. Didn't want to bother with taking it to the nearest store so we decided to keep it. The damage is not visible. Also the wood/paint have a strong chemical smell which bothered us at first but we left it in the garage until it dissipated. Assembly was pretty complicated. Not hard to do, but there's a lot to do to get it all together
