This looks beautiful once assembled and mounted. But there are a lot of little kinks to get past and I’m not confident that it won’t fall out of the wall. Every screw had a designated hole marked on the furniture. The doors are not aligned correctly, they close too tightly and scrape the shelving. I slowly measured up my drill bit until i was able to get the drywall anchor to where I could tap it in and ensure it was still tight, but it feels like the screws can slide in and out of the anchors. The cabinets are actually too small for me to put most things in there with the top piece where the doors close. The space is way too small to run cables and you have t run them and run them right before you mount because you cannot manipulate the cables and run them behind once you do. The light requires cables to be exposed on the side to mount the button where it is supposed to mount and I’m surprised there wasn’t at least a small hole to run it inside and behind. Likewise, there is no gap on the edge where the light wiring is supposed to go behind, so you have to leave a small gap to get the wiring behind it. I ended up running the button on top and hid it behind my sound bar. All-in-all, from my couch it looks great. But the cabinets will remain mostly empty because the doors are a pain and most of what I’d want in there can’t fit the way I want it to. And I’ve had to get real creative on how I run cables, so I don’t have any plans to change out my equipment anytime soon because, mercy, the nightmare of having to pull it off the wall to rerun cables is a lot of anxiety. I’ve currently got my ottoman underneath it, so if on the off chance my fears are realized and it does fall off the wall, at least it has something to land on. It looks good enough, but I am truly frustrated with this piece of furniture and disappointed that I can’t really use it the way I had hoped.
