How I learned about Kroil Original Penetrant
Back in the 1960’s when I was a kid, my Dad would hire me to shovel metal chips out of his cutting machines. Dad had a small machine shop that employed two and sometimes three people. I would shovel chips out of each machine and then oil the machines with different lubricants. That was my job for a couple of days after school. I learned a lot about maintenance of machine tools. One day, I bought an old three speed bicycle so I could get back and forth from school to job. It was old, rusted, and needed some TLC. I needed to change the tires and tubes so I did, after I got done with my job at the shop, but could not get the wheel off the bicycle frame because of rust on the axle bolts and nuts. My Dad was an avid Kroil user and taught me how to use this penetrant. My Dad always bought the gallon cans and filled an old Eagle metal pump oiler that had Kroil printed on the can. He told me to squirt a little of this oiled on the threads and wait a couple of minutes so that the oil could creep into those thread and and break-up the corrosion between the nuts and threads. WOW, it worked! All four axle nuts came off so easy. When I took over the family business in 1982, I made sure we always had the Original Kroil in stock. But then I discovered aerosol SiliKroil and that became a standard in the shop too. It works just as well as the original Kroil but has so many more applications. We machine a lot of aluminum and when we don’t use a coolant, we use SiliKroil as a cutting oil on the dry lathe. It works so much better than Kerosene and smells a whole lot better. All the other machines use a water base coolant. If I’m hand drilling a piece of metal, I always lube it up with SiliKroil because it cuts down on the drill wear and the drill won’t grab as you drill through the metal piece. We are still using the same old push lawn mower Dad purchased back in the early 1960’s to mow the shop lawn. But I noticed one day it was getting hard to pull and excessive black smoke was coming out of the little muffler exhaust. I thought there goes the piston rings. I was placing a shop order through my supplier and noticed Kreen was a gas treatment, so I ordered a gallon. Mixed it in with the gasoline and over a couple of weeks I noticed that it was easier to pull start and very little black exhaust coming out of the muffler. Again, I was impressed! You got to love those Briggs and Stratton engines! I’ve been an avid fan of Kroil products since 1965 and will continue to use Kroil products as long as I am still the shop owner. And by the way, I’m still using that Eagle pump oiler with the original Kroil penetrant in it!

There is nothing like it!
We use KROIL in my trade, I am a union Millwright. We build and rebuild machinery in factories all over the country. One of my jobs was rebuilding steam turbine generators for Com-Ed in Chicago, steam turbines that had been running for 70 years. Needless to say we had plenty of stuck nuts and bolts, some the size of coffee cans, but sprayed them with Kroil and give them a little time for it to creep into the threads and we were able to loosen and remove them. The stuff worked so well I started keeping a can in my garage to use when working on my cars and motorcycles.

Greatest penetrant ever!
I am a Union Millwright and we work on 90% of the gas and steam turbines across the United States that is responsible for creating electricity across the U.S. Some of these components are exposed to 1200° steam for years at a time. Our contractors know what it takes to overhaul this equipment and that’s why we use gallons of Kroil!

Fast Acting, Easy yo Use, Long Lasting
I bought a gallon a LONG time ago and am still using fom it. And, I use it frequently. It doesn't take much. I have a little in a seprate container that I dip my screwdriver into then let it drip onto where I need it. Give it a little tap to start vibrations and leave it. Occasionally I have to reapply but not usually. Works every time. Seems to leave a preventative coating as well. Great stuff.

Best penetrant I have ever used.
I have restored classic cars for over 40 years. Nothing as difficult as taking apart rusted parts that have rusted bolts and nuts. I’ve used every type and brand of penetrant on the market and Kroil is the best performing one, hands down!

Kroil has replaced several products at my business
This and your other products have retired my other “penetrants” and “degreasers” as they just don’t work. Thanks, Mike.

Been using Kroil since 1973.
Bought a gallon. Best penetrate of rust around. Was restoring a 1990 F150 Lariat. Loosened every rusted bolt I had and actually stop the rust on areas I exposed it to.

Really work very well
I had this as a specified penetrant for a job at the facility where I work. I've been using penetrant oils in the Petrochemical, Aviation and Nuclear industries for over 35 years and this was the first time I'd come across Kroil. I wish I'd come across it 35 years ago! It just works so well and is much faster and more effective than any similar product I've ever used before. Thankfully the container supplied to me contained much more than was actually needed, because it just works so well. This is a good thing because I now have a new and very effective weapon in my arsenal for tackling seized and rusty components here on site which, being next to the sea, is a common and re-occurring problem. Highly recommended.

Lifesaver!
I started using Kroil penetrant several years ago when I couldn't get a bolt loose on a piece of farm machinery that needed immediate repair. It's been a staple on the farm ever since. As a woman farmer now in my seventies, Kroil makes my work a lot easier.

WOW!
We used this product on a few of the large Turbine installations over the years. keeps the rust out, keeps the nuts and bolts working freely. It also creeps into the hard to get at spots the normal "penetrating oil" does not.

The only thing that maters in my tool box
I have been using Kroil since 1973 and in working on old rusty cars, trucks, farm equipment I would not be without my trusty can of Kroil.I have taken things apart that torches and cheater bars could not handle. If it has been rusting for years, Soak it and come back in a few hours and take it apart. This has been the key to working on old rusty things. Thank you Kroil !! for being here all these years.
