Kristin Ess Hair Dye Gloss in Crystal Quartz for All Hair Colors - 4 fl oz

I accidently ordered the high gloss instead of dark brown toner. I immediately knew it was wrong when the smell of alcohol burnt my eyes upon opening. I tried to leave it on for a few mins but I was crying and at this point was afraid it would damage my hair. washed it out and there is no difference in my hair except it is drier. Now my scalp is burning and itching. would not recommend. huge mistake.

I followed the instructions to a tee and I see absolutely no difference in my hair’s shine. In fact my ends feel a little crunchy now.

Did not work AT ALL! Disappointed big time! Wasted 20 minutes and water!!

When using a hair gloss, i like buying Kristin Ess brand. I have highlights on my hair and i have used their toner and it leaves my hair feeling so soft and making my hair color even in between salon visits. I do have a lot of hair so i have to use two boxes, a bit pricey but worth it.

If I could give this 0 stars I would, I did this 2 times and after the 2nd use it made almost all of my hair fall out. USE WITH CAUTION!!!!

The pigment is great but the colour bleeds!!!! It gets on everything. The red will take over again like it did last time. It's still beautiful, bit it's sad to see my yellows and oranges deepen as thes red takes over before they all begin to fade (right about time for me to head back to my stylist). The colours are ever changing and shifting with each wash because the red that rinses out (even in plain, cold water) deepens thes lighter tones. I don't mind the ever- shifting hair. It's fun and looks like I visit the salon much more often than I actually do.

Application was easy if you follow the instructions. Shine was immaculate and it actually left my hair very soft. I love the little gift (the detangler) it is soo pretty

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well well… Not really impressed with the results. Nice toning of multidimensional warm blond hair. Blended my root grow out beautifully. I think it worth buying between appointments for a little better color. I applied the product as a hair mask and let it sit for 30 min (20 min was recommended) Then got back in the shower to shampoo and condition. Package is simple and easy to use, amount is enough for medium length hair. If u have long hair I recommend to use 2 packages. I can definitely say that my hair just looks healthier and fresh, shiny and glossy, but not much color difference.

I love how the color stays for weeks and keeps hair looking and feeling amazing. Covered my grays. Hair felt absolutely soft. The instructions are very easy to understand and using the product was a breeze. Comes in a simple packaging. Was really impressed with the results. Definitely worth it.

Probably wouldn’t do it again with this particular color because I don’t see much difference. The application is super easy. The smell is pretty much non existent. And it didn’t stain my shower or my skin. I may not have picked the correct color for my hair which could be why I don’t see much difference. But overall the formula and product is pretty nice!

I was never one to attempt any dye products at home, but in a pinch I tried this gloss and am so glad I did! The color refresh this gives is so natural while adding shine and hydration back into my hair. The scent is as if you are coming from a salon but in a good way. I think it makes my hair smell great and isn’t too strong. I really like how easy the application is and that it comes with everything you need including gloves. The results typically last me about four months before I retouch. For the price and the fact that I’m doing it myself, this gives incredible results and I feel confident after using it.

I'm not sure about the performance of this product as I only put it on my hair a few hours ago, but based on the smell alone, I will not be repurchasing. It smelt like I had a wet dog sitting on my head, which was fine at first, but you have to wear it for 10-20 minutes. The longer time went on, I began to feel nauseous because of it. It took me shampooing/rinsing my hair 4 times to get it to go away.

This hair gloss has been my go since I started doing my hair alone. I like to keep my hair as healthy and I’ve used this product every month for the last year and it has never damaged my hair. It tints and gives your hair such a healthy feeling and look and I’ve only ever gotten compliments. It has a nice scent like you just came from a hair salon. Def worth it.
