Removes makeup, but this is mid.
The promise is that it doesn't leave your skin stripped and tight. That part was not true for me at all. Each time I used this cleanser it left my skin dying for moisturizer. If I went longer than 5-10 minutes without moisturizing after this cleanser my skin would get extremely tight that it almost hurt. This product also smells like you stuffed seaweed up your nose. It does remove makeup well, I'll give it that. Your skin feels clean afterwards...probably because it took literally sucked 10 years of oil out of your skin and about half of the water out of your body. You can find way better for a fraction of the price.

First Kopari product I did not like
It got off almost all of my makeup when i used it which was great. It left my face feeling really dry after. The smell was also not great, which was really weird for a Kopari product because most things smell amazing. This smelled a bit like a vegetable drawer in a fridge. Sadly not for me.

I wohld never buy this again. Unfortunately the web itself is fine, but the smell is awful! It smells super fishy/ oceany. Please go in store and smell this before you buy it. I should have known it would smell "Marine" considring its name abd thats in me, but the reviews are deceiving.

My go to cleanser
I tried this cleanser because it was recommended by a worker, and honestly its the best I've tried for my skin. My skin is super dry and itchy most of the time, but this cleanser doesnt leave me feeling tight and stripped of moisture afterwards. you dont need much either, just a small amount will lather up an insane amount.

My holy grail!
I loveeee this product, I used a whole bottle and I saw a significant change in my skin. I have combination. I ran out and used a different brand that was goft to me and it did not compare. I went out to buy another bottle of Kopari! Please make travel sizes i beg!

Natural cleanser with very mild fragrance
I received a 2 oz. size of this cleanser as a birthday gift, and I think it is a great product, Only a little dot or two is enough to clean my entire face, and the very mild fragrance reminds me of the beach. I think other reviewers are reacting to a lack of added scent. I have a strong sense of smell, and scents of most products are two strong for me. It is very generous of Ulta to give this high quality product as a birthday gift!

great gel cleanser
I received a sample for my birthday and finally started using it. I prefer gel cleansers and it does a great job, even with makeup. You don't even have to use a large amount. It does have a light seaweed smell that goes away after washing, which I like but I think that may be what is turning so many people off. So be warned if you don't like the smell of seaweed.

I have dry, sensitive, acne prone skin. This is the most gentle cleanser I've used that also works to remove makeup. It hasn't caused me any breakouts, further dryness, redness, or irritation with my eyes. I recommend this to anyone who is struggling to find a gentle cleanser that leaves your skin nice and clean.

I got a sample of this as my birthday reward and after trying it for one time, I bought the bottle. This cleanser is so gentle, and my skin feels hydrated afterwards. No dryness or tightness. Clean, but moisturized. The smell to me is like freshly cut cucumbers, but not cucumber "flavoring" if that makes sense. I only wish it also came in a travel size too!

Will purchase
I got a travel size in one of the holiday ulta bundles. There is definitely a "marine" scent to the product but I dont mind it. Reminds me of the ocean a bit. The texture is great, slippy gel like and foams when lathered on the face. Not much needed when applying and working onto a damp face. I'll definitely buy the full size when I'm out.
