such a nice piece for the kitchen. I use it as my coffee bar. It's very sturdy, and heavy. Also it's so very easy to assemble I highly recommend this.

This takes about 1 1/2 hour to assemble . It does take two people to put together. I think we will like it in our home. It is very nice .

The island looked very nice. The color matches my oak cabinets perfectly. The ample cabinet and counter space serves the purpose. However, two screws are missing and the two holes of extension support piece are not threaded.

Top finish will not stand up to much use but I added a coat of polyurathane to mine. Not everyone likes the look of poly, you may want to try something else. There was a review, that seems to have been deleted, that warned of this so I was prepared. Storage space is much smaller than the outside dimentions would suggest. It is divided with a support so you basically have two 19 inch deep, by 12 inch wide by 25 inch high storage spaces behind doors. The color is very close to online picture but I don't think most would find this matches anything else called oak. More of a brownish cherry or reddish walnut. I like the design of the top. It is easy to assemble. The packaging has an inch of cushion and while my boxes were pretty beat up on arrival no damage to product. It comes in three heavy boxes so be ready with help and space when it arrives. Overall I am pleased with this product given I knew most of the above complaints before I purchased.

Although we purchased the furniture at a lower price than currently advertised, we are very pleased with the unit and believe it is a great value at the old price. It particularly fits well in a medium sized kitchen. It not only provides utility in the kitchen, it is a fine piece of furniture. It wasn't too difficult to assemble and tools aren't necessary other than a screwdriver. The top portion with sliding drawers is one piece that just fits on the base and middle cabinets that take about 2-3 hours to assemble. You will need two strong persons to lift and drop the finished top piece on. The wood is slightly darker than the photograph shows, but it will work well with lighter kitchen cabinet tones. The piece is heavy and will not move if one bumps it inadvertently.

First off I have to foreclose that the one we purchased was this model only in the color black, but I could not find it listed today. It is a beautiful island and we love it. My husband HATES putting things together, but we got this done is a couple of hours. Instructions very easy to follow and everything went together very nice. It is a very high quality island, just what I have wanted. Highly recommend!
