It won't stay warm on its own after being unplugged.The good news is that while it's connected to power, it does a fantastic job of maintaining a steady temperature thanks to its even, full-surface heating and built-in thermostat. Just keep it plugged in, and it will keep your food perfectly warm!

Wrong

I ordered 4 different times, each time receiving the wrong items. Not as advertised. I specifically ordered this item because of the space between countertop and heating elements. When it came the spacers were only 9/16 not the 1 inch as advertised. It was also a generic box, as the others I ordered were a different company name but the same generic box.☹️
