Kipling Alvar Extra Small Metallic Mini Bag

Although it looks like a mini size but it is amazing how much stuff it actually hold and it's super light!

Cute & good neutral color. Metallic material has a somewhat rubbery hand feel. iPhone 14 it's in the largest compartment with pethaps room for a small pair of sunglasses & a mini sleeve credit card wallet.

Bought this as a replacement for my prior bag... very disappointed! The color is good, but the over-all quality of the bag is not as good at all... The seams are not as crisp as before which makes the bag appear a bit shorter and distorted with the proportions looking off; the lining is cheap and doesn't fit smoothly into the bag. The strap looks similar but the color is a bit off and the weave is not as attractive. The hardware (zipper pulls) have gotten cheesy. No inner pocket at back and no front mini pouch. No key holder. Monkey ornament nowhere as cute as before...looks cheesy. Kipling logo on front is no longer as distinctive and recognizable; looks like cheap heat-stamped vinyl vs. the long-time quality signature molded rubberI am a long-time Kipling user; own the large rolling suitcase, briefcase, expandable duffle bag, travel toiletry bags (2) and cosmetic pouch., plus three handbags and a back-pack. The quality and durability was superb on all and held up well through many years of business travel (over 100,000 miles per year) and daily use.My last few trips to retail stores and outlet store were disappointing as the classic look and quality Kipling was famous for wasn't there and I left empty-handed. Tried again by re-ordering this mini bag on-line as loved it and used it to death for years; and was so disappointed !(enclosing images- original bag is on the left)
